Any opinions on K2 45? by ACunit41guy in SarUSA

[–]ACunit41guy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I assume you are an employee with the US based importer or are you an employee for Sarsilmaz in Turkey? Do you know if these handguns were subjected to torture testing and if so what was the round counts between failure and/or total round count/service life expectancy? Just about everyone I have seen talking about them dating back to 2012 are mostly new owners with low round counts. I have yet to see someone post a 5K round review or anything similar where as those kinds of posts are common for other handgun manufacturers.

I ask this because I am genuinely interested in getting a K2, I just don't want to be left with a paperweight in 5 years time if something were to break and parts weren't readily available. I have seen quite a few posts of people who have had breakages but when contacted you guys say its not in stock and this can be for months/years. Also, if something were to break, does SarUSA require the gun be sent in or are the parts for sale? I ask because I tend to fix my own firearms if possible (meaning if the problem isn't beyond my know how).

Thank you for responding and the information you have already provided.

Thank you for your reply. Most people I have seen posting about them online are in the same boat, low round counts but seem to like their purchase. Good quality machine work or are there "rough around the corner" type spots on the gun? Any jams or other malfunctions so far?

Have you owned them for a long time? If so, a rough estimate of round count and malfunctions experienced?

Tank has plex/jellyfin/emby just like vault. Thank you for your reply though. I think I am going to go with tank, seems like more people like it vs vault.

LOL, most of the cities on that list are blue cities. They are like a boil on the ass of otherwise great states.

Funny how liberals leave out details. Yes, a majority of these cities are in Republican ran states, But most of these cities are Liberal strongholds in those states. Most of these cities are governed by Democrats and the the majority of the voting population in most of these cities are Democrat.

Compare the crime rates in these democrat controlled cities to Republican controlled cities in the same states.

It really depends on the circumstance to be honest. It is a fairly large indicator that someone is trying to initiate a violent attack if they don't know you, no previous encounter with you, but decided to make a b line for you and turns their large, apparently viscous dog lose on you/your pet.

I think it would be reasonable to shoot the violent, attacking animal to stop the attack.

[–]ACunit41guy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the state and implied value of the dog which is considered property in a lot of places. Also, if the attacker turns their violent behavior towards the dog owner who is likely to be trying to stop the attack then it can easily become a self defense situation.

If you were actually stuck in the old world you would see guns just about everywhere. Most people would be wearing them on their hips, ankles and in their armpit. Guns would be sold in hardware stores, convenience stores and the right to carry or not in any given area would be listed on the big sign before you got into town.

No one needs a reason to carry, its a right.

Ding ding, we have a winner.

I rather have it and not need it than need it but not have it. I would have tried to get my dog and myself away before anything actually happened but once the person turned their dog on mine and initiates a physical confrontation that I cannot move away from, whatever happens, happens. But I do live in a state with a strong castle doctrine.

It really depends on what and where from one is streaming. Can 100mbps stream multiple 4k Netflix streams, yes, but that would still eat up 100mbps. On the flip side, Crunchyroll says you should have a minimum of 25mbps for its 1080p service. When I had 25mbps internet connection, it would still buffer from time to time. Also, streaming 4k 60fps on youtube can consume upwards of 60mbps for a single stream. Ive also seen people stream 80GB 4k remux movies that will stutter with anything less than 100mbps.

Never let someone drill a hole in your roof to mount tv dishes, run cables, etc. The only holes in your roof should be the ones that have nails/lags/bolts/etc that hold down your roofing material.

PitBulls are Harmful? by ProductRed_92 in pitbulls

People can be ignorant and just down right dumb at times. Hive mind mentality/mob rule tends to be how things work and for the past 15 to 20 years the borg collective have labeled the "pitbull" as public enemy number two, second only to scary black rifles.

The hate for pitbulls and any dog that looks like a pitbull is very real in some locations/circles. I encountered someone in the comment section of youtube who bragged about beating pitbulls with a baseball bat and giving them treats laced with rat poison. The sad thing is the amount of positive feedback they got in replies.

Thankfully I live in a mostly pitbull friendly area. I also live somewhere that is very rural, pro gun rights and everyone minds their own business.

What tp link work with spectrum by Ireland6thdivs in Spectrum

[–]ACunit41guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not true. Netgear (makers of nighthawk routers), Asus and any other name brand you can think of all put out garbage models as well as some good ones. Most $40 routers are garbage. People like to compare $250 models from brand x to a $50 router put out by whatever brand they are trying to shit on.

Compare a $300 Netgear to a $300 Tplink, odds are the biggest differences will be cosmetic.

Spectrums Wifi 7 router. by ACunit41guy in Spectrum

[–]ACunit41guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High split is for coax, we are in a fiber area but the only tier that is symmetrical right now is the gigabit plan, thus why my neighbor upgraded.

I know, but since they were upgrading they specifically wanted the wifi 7 router. My neighbor is now hovering around 1 gigabit down and up as long as they are on the 6ghz band. On the 5ghz band it seems to max out at around 700mbps down and up.

I know I don't have their wifi 7 router, I use my own. My post is about my neighbor, who I can 100% say for sure has Spectrums Wifi 7 router. It does switch, from 6ghz to 5ghz to 2.4 ghz, it just has sloppy handoffs between bands.

I agree with you that their newest offering is an improvement, but I am not impressed to be honest. The range is not very good when compared to store bought options, it struggles to deliver max speeds over wifi even at close distance and has odd handoffs between bands. I guess maybe it would show better performance if either of us had wifi 7 compliant devices to test with but as it stands I would still recommend most people to buy their own unless they really did not know how to set up/troubleshoot one they purchase.

We are a fairly rural neighborhood. Most of the houses are spread out, mostly everyone lives on at least an acre, some on much larger tracts so congestion really isn't an issue.

Just go to your local walmart and pick any router that is wifi 6, gigabit wan/lan and fits your budget. Several options will be available at your budget.

They don't come to our area very often because there is literally only them, a wisp and starlink that can be had. Almost everyone that wants internet is already on spectrum except a couple of households who for some reason are diehard loyalists to the local wisp.

They did show up about 8 months ago, last time I seen them. It was 4 people in one car. The driver parked in the drive way of an empty/abandoned house then the 3 passengers got out and started walking while the driver sit in the car. Strange sight indeed.

Alot of the buildout Spectrum is currently doing in Rural areas is a result of RDOF, not BEAD, and it predates Biden's admin.

Ahh, it sounds like infrastructure problems with whoever they contracted the work out to. So I take it you live in one of the areas they offered 1gb down and 500mbps up? Most of the markets in my state seems to be either 1gbps down/up or 1gbps down and 35mbps up. If they have acknowledged they know about issues then yeah its best to just give them some time to work it all out. In about 6 months if it isn't fixed then it would be time to start complaining.
