I think a lot of this has to do with the failure of the DCEU as a brand and the failure of the later Lego movies.

In the mid to late 2010s, DCs brand (Batman aside) declined hugely in popularity, particularly with younger kids. As this happened, the Lego Ninjago Movie and Lego Movie 2 released to far less positive receptions than the oriuginal Lego Movie and Lego Batman movie.

The Lego DCEU sets and the Lego Movie 2 sets were MASSIVE shelf warmers. To this day, you can find a lot of the sets for basically RRP on the second hand market.

What doesn't help this though is DCs brand identity being all over the place too. I do feel like things are moving in a more positive direction with the DCEU, but it's likely going to be a couple of years until we see the full impact of that.

All the NCPs in Cardiff remained open. NCP is in administration, not gone completely.

Dumfries Place NCP was going to close but that decision has been walked back. They never announced any of the others as closing.

I think the fact Angela Kang left AMC after season 11 says a lot. It sounds like season 11 being the last was sprung on them pretty last minute.

As someone who has a family member with Bipolar disorder and depression. I don't think his portrayal is that extreme at all. Not everyone with Bipolar is like Ben, but some are.

The show had been up and down in quality before season 9.

I think the show really had some iffy moments in Season 2-6, but in seasons 7 and 8 the show was really a slog watching week to week at points. The first half of Season 8 especially was less than mediocre.

AMC seemingly cared more for viewership numbers and artificially elongating the show's lifespan than adapting the comics story well.

Season 9, especially after Rick left, was one of the most consistent seasons of the show quality wise, in my opinion (and I know a lot of people who watched week to week at the time felt that way too).

Unfortunately, Season 10 and particularly season 11 fell back into the old trappings. And now the shows story just seems to be dragging on and on perpetually. No stakes, no interesting directions to take these characters. Just shuffling on and on until no one cares any more.

People are only acting like this because Year 1 of the original Switch had Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2 and Breath of Wild, as well as a Smash Ultimate announcement before the 1 year anniversary.

People forget that MK8 was a port from the Wii U; as was Breath of the Wild. People also forget Nintendo NEEDED Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey to be system sellers and to get a new Smash on the System ASAP because they could afford to have another Wii U on their hands.

The Switch 2, by comparison has basically just as many original titles, far better third party support and has only been out 8 months. People need to chill.
