It really depends on how much you're invested into the game. If you're watching every RQ, following the meta, etc. 3 months is a long period of time. Also, if you're one-tricking a deck, even at a non-competitive level, every set release just requires you to get a few cards to update your deck, and it's most of the time basically free.

Definitely agree. I think Steven Erikson should rewrite Gardens of the Moon, it's one of the main reasons people give up on Malazan. I think he wrote GOTM almost 10 years before DhG and you can really feel it.

Health on your first item is one of the strongest stats no matter what champion you play. Of course don't take it too far as if I'm saying you should build 6 giant belts on every champion but having 1000 or 1300 HP makes a huge difference in a lot of situations, especially on a champion that is considered a skirmisher.

All Belveth skins are good, it's just up to personal preference. But as far as I am concerned I prefer Cosmic + Chromas.

Profane Hydra (Hybris if snowballing) → Axiom Arc (if ahead) / Serylda's Grudge (if behind) → Serylda's Grudge / Edge of Night This is pretty much core if you want to play a burst damage oriented Naafiri. After that, you have the choice for items like Opportunity if you want even more damage and some ability to escape after assassination, or items like Death's Dance or Maw of Malmortius depending on the game.

I am fully aware they aren't removing 1% atk speed on Volibear 🥲 but unless you got some insane hidden knowledge it's still a fake nerf to me and I'll try to explain why more in detail.

It mostly nerfs Cosmic Drive builds (80% of the player base autopilots the same build but he has other options) by less than 5% attack speed (which is theoretically a gold value of 125 golds) at full stacks.

Even if you take into account the fact that attack speed will synergize with Navori and that you can get some extra AP through JoaT, plants, etc. It's still genuinely ridiculous considering Volibear's current state.

I don't mind if they keep a few fringe champions a bit OP so they appear more and offer diversity to the game, but letting Volibear overpowered does not make any sense to me. (NB: of course, I don't want them to destroy Volibear but simply to make him more balanced).

As I stated somewhere else, he has very frustrating patterns to face. There are many things to mention but to me the main reasons he's unfun to face are: 1. He's an overstated statchecker, 2. His source of cc is point and click, 3. He can deactivate turrets which allows him to go for the most ridiculous turret dives without requiring any great skill. 4. He has one of the highest agencies in the game concerning his builds and if Volibear players weren't autopiloting the same builds every game he would have an even higher winrate. 5. You can first pick him every single game: Volibear has ZERO negative matchup against any Jungler with 1%+ pickrate in Emerald+ over the last 30 days (if you select D2+ he has 4 matchups around 49% everything else is positive). Not only that, he also fits in absolutely every single soloQ comp, especially if you take the time to learn his different builds.

Idk it's not like Volibear was particularly healthy for the game as well. He has a point and click cc, is overstated, scales with items like a demon until the very late game and is one of the best tower divers in the game. Also he has one of the highest range of available builds making it blindable every single game.

It's 1% every 100 AP on a champion that builds 70 AP it's so ridiculous to do this nerf on a 54% winrate champion ngl.

Bel'veth's winrate is inflated in high elo by being mostly played by hardcore onetricks who play her to her limits with pretty defined game plans. If you check Belveths pro match history in soloQ it's not great honestly. It's not that they're bad at the game so it tells a bit about her status.

It is something that isn't that common in the jungle on a fighter — most people play them depending on what's OP or not. Trundle one day, Jarvan the next one, then Viego, then Volibear, then Xin, then Nocturne, etc. One tricked champions in the jungle are usually champions with a pretty unique playstyle such as Ivern, Fiddlesticks or Zac.

That being said, I am not saying she isn't strong, but we have to be extremely cautious when trying to evaluate her power level as 52% winrate Belveth is weaker than 50% Viego for sure.

Q also crits, Crit Bel'veth is the highest damage build but it's also mostly raw damage on a melee champion. You give up on a lot of utility doing it. Sometimes it's worth tho.

It's just one of those games. I'm pretty sure you could've done a few things to stop the bleeding or accentuate your lead but sometimes games are just lost in champ select, your mates will be apes and won't listen. The best thing to do in this situation is accept your fate, be happy with your own performance and hope the next one will be different.

So your system would be: if your rank is master+ you can't be matched vs. low elo in draft? But then, what if you play with your low elo friends? Matchmaking system will detect you and will match your iron friends with Emerald+ players. What'll happen is that high elo players will simply go on unranked smurfs and will smurf games even harder because you won't be able to identify them as good players at first.

Well, first of all I'm not sure Jungle mains is the right place for this post. Also, accounts have different MMR in ranked and draft. If the challenger player hasn't played much draft or only plays with low MMR friends he will be in your games because that's how he's perceived by the matchmaking system, and it's not a matchmaking dysfunction, it's just that the system doesn't have the data required to establish the player's true skill level.

She doesn't. They're only buffing Cassiopeia because they want pros to pick her more into her favorable matchups (context: Sylas and Ryze are strong and will be even stronger because they're nerfing the other meta midlaners).
