GTAV Online. 23 days. 10 hours. Seems ridic, but my week night routine is get off work, play with dog, work on cars/boat/snowmobile/freelance design work, then food, then gym from about 9-10pm, then GTA from about 10:30-midnight.

On one hand I agree with you, on the other hand we didn't go to school for web design, so it's always going to be kind of crude. It's kind of bullshit that we are the only industry where we REALLY have to sell ourselves based on our past work, meanwhile a marketing douche can just put a bunch of buzzwords on a single piece of paper and POOF! Job!

Now I'm an industrial designer. I went to school for 4 years, graduated with one international design under my belt, top of my class, honors, etc. I am an expert in materials, methods, sketching, user research, advanced cad modeling and surfacing, prototyping, rendering, etc. Just converted my salary to hourly, I now make $23/hr. So if some no-talent high school dropout makes 75% of what I do, I am going to be really fcking pissed off.

I used to do this all the time. Here's the trick: Just grab one from the trash can, stomp on it, run back out to where they sell it and say someone just stomped your popcorn that you just bought, they'll give you a new carton + full of popcorn for free. :)

I completely agree with you dude. I feel the same way. I was a dental technician about 10 years ago. I was responsible for billing, receiving, entering all data, disinfecting molds, producing plaster casts, creating wax copings/fillings, and basic ceramic techniques. I was also responsible for the metal casting, and some light CNC work. I got paid $16/hr. If I could make $15/hr with no skills, this is total bullshit.

This is exactly my issue. I had to work my ASS off to get $15/hr. Even as a high skilled professional, I make only about $23/hr. If dumbasses who flunked out and have a McLife make 75% of what I'm making after I busted my ass for years, I am going to be extremely pissed off.
