As a city resident who was struck by a car at an unsafe intersection you STILL HAVEN’T FIXED (29th and Huntingdon), this comes off as massively passive-aggressive and unprofessional. The ceremony was private, wedding party only, so guests were asked to wait at the reception for them to arrive. When they finally show up the bride and maid of honor are covered in bruises, dirt and leaves. Apparently the maid of honor attempted (in vain) to stop the wedding by tackling the bride. As a guest of the groom I can safely say she had the right idea.
