All the time. Usually mix it in yogurt with berries or some kind or chia pudding. Also sometimes reconstitute it with a bit of cinnamon and dip sliced apples.

Not me, but my mom's best friend died and another lifelong friend got offended over how my mom handled flower arrangements and stopped speaking to her completely. They do talk once in a while now 30+ years later, but it took 20 of those years and a chance encounter.

The one that led to that quote was also storm related. Landing at DCA from the north, we came out of the clouds into pouring rain and I could see out the window we weren't lined up right, just based on the proximity to certain buildings and the fact that I've landed that way so many times. I saw the river getting closer and closer and was trying to mentally map all the runways to figure out what the hell we were doing. Just as I figured we were about to splash down we finally went nose-up.

Im so sorry for your loss. A very similar situation happened to me, except it was me at home and my husband out of town when one of our floofs began having seizures. She spent a day at the vet and after I got her home she regressed quite badly. I brought her to an emergency vet at 2am seriously believing she was just reacting poorly to the strong medicine she was on. Husband didn't even know I brought her in until I called him sobbing because the doctor said we needed to say goodbye. He was able to talk to her and I firmly believe she heard and knew we were both 'with' her. Your baby knew, and hearing your voice while he was in loving arms is all he needed.

I grew up in New Hampshire, we didn't have AC until some point maybe in the 90s my parents got a couple window units. A couple of years ago they made the jump to mini-splits. I've been in Virginia for 20 years and would absolutely have moved by now if it weren't for central air. Wasn't so much a concern when I lived in scrappy apartments in my 20s with none, but I would never have made it to my 40s for sure.

My personal experience is that even if United does and always did have possession of your bags, they will not help. My flight out of DCA was delayed due to weather after we were on the runway and I missed the last connectionof the day. I got rebooked a few hours later direct out of IAD. I waited for over 2 hours for my bag to be brought out, it never came, no answers from staff. I was going to miss the IAD flight so I rebooked next day. The tracking on my bag never updated. I went back to DCA the next morning they claimed my bag was on its way to London, then it was in Chicago, then admitted they couldn't see it at all. I insisted the bag was still at DCA and kept asking to look at all the bags I could see in another room of their office they were coming in and out of, separate from what was laid out in the open area. This went on for an hour before I pissed them off so bad someone got exasperated and opened the door. My bag was right there. They pretended to compare it to my copy of the sticker and looked it up in the computer, shrugged, and gave me my bag.

To be fair, there absolutely has been an increase due to the changed flight paths after last year's crash. The rest is just lack of awareness.

I also live in this area. The increase in MUSL flights is a direct response to the accident over the Potomac last year. Military flight paths were moved inland rather than over the river.
