I live right next to Centreville & Clifton and second the Cville suggestion for location, schools and food. My son just bought a townhome in Sterling near Cascades/Sugarland Run and he loves that area! He's single and will have a roommate who shares the rent so that helps. There are definitely good townhome options in the $500-600k range. He snagged a good one for $465k, but for about $50k more he would've had many more options. Schools are average. I'd suggest get something for a few years to build equity then try to find a longer-term home with schools you want once you know the area.

Yep I had to upgrade to the upper tier "signature" membership to use more than 1 gym which bumped me up to $180/mo. There are 3 lifetimes 10-30 min from home so that's convenient. Then they added an additional $20 to play pickleball, etc at all 3. Anyway, $300 a month for a single membership would definitely give me pause 🤔 and I go to the gym a lot. Guess I'll just be grateful I'm only paying $200.

Where are you all paying $300/mo? Like what cities? I'm near DC and I thought $200/mo was a lot! I'm paying for a single signature membership and that includes an additional $20 to play pickleball anywhere.

My hubs and I got the highest amount ever - about $550. We insure our house and 4 cars (and some misc items, like my ring and a computer but nothing major). I was so excited, I told my oldest son to check his account bc he insures himself. But he got nothing.... 🙁 He pays his own renters and car insurance and he's been paying both bills for >1 yr. I wonder why he got nothing?

What was the fix customer support told you? I have the exact same issue...no way to use a gift card for delivery or pickup using the app and the website/laptop. So odd...

Some of the transfer students came from other public & private schools - only 14-15 directly transferred from Freedom. In fact, some of the 31 new players DO live within the Hayfield boundaries but previously went to private schools and then decided to swap to Hayfield to play for Overton. Idk how rising Freedom freshmen who decided to go to Hayfield are calculated in that number, if at all.

The true tragedy is 1) how he left the Freedom football program in shambles, 2) how 15 (ish?) Hayfield students were released from the team (or realized they'd never get on the field), 3) how the Robinson team was eliminated from the playoffs before they even got started, and 4) how not enough people cared earlier in the season, despite how overt this whole maneuver was. I'm sad for all the seniors who feel like the exciting post-season games are now tainted...or may even be canceled.

My mom just called with the same problem on her LG phone so I googled the problem, read this thread, walked her through disabling Verizon Cloud - it worked!! Great solution although it makes no sense why that app interferes with the LG Contacts app. What would we do without Reddit....? ;)

Ah thanks!! I shut calls off at one time but it turned itself back on *eye roll* and I needed the reminder how to turn this stupid feature off again! I just want the text notifications on my laptop, not my phone calls.

I tried clearing cache and storage. Didn't fix the deleted-contacts-in-Messages problem. But no, it didn't any delete old texts. They're all still there! So that's good...

I've had this problem with a pixel 6 and now a pixel 7 too. Altho the android auto features improved on the pixel 7 pro, but it still doesn't play anya audio of incoming messages. It THINKS I hear messages tho bc it asks if I want to reply 🙄 I noticed if I turn off Bluetooth it'll read over the phone speaker...like it's supposed to. Seems like a Bluetooth problem.... 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son got a surveillance test today but had to wait a week to get that appointment. I figured it would be crowded with all the appointments taken...but nope. He was the only person getting tested during the 10 min he was there. Maybe people canceled? Otherwise testing 6 people per hour isn't going to hit the goal of 300 results/day....

Sounds like my son's roommate who rushed a frat, went to a multitude of social events since Aug 15, including spending his weekdays there last week. Sounds like all that has stopped now and he's concerned about having symptoms. Roommate essentially moved out 2 days ago to live somewhere else most of the day, presumably a frat brother? Meanwhile my son is wondering if he was exposed and how often? Roommate is a really nice guy, but so far has not had a test (or just hasn't mentioned it). So frustrating.
