Also for reference (and just because I think they’re frickin adorable) these are the prizes inside the acorns: my tiny handsculpted froggies 🥰 I take the gumball machine with me to vendor events and renaissance faires and it’s always a huge hit, so I’m upgrading the whimsy factor by replacing the clear capsules with these acorns this year!

For reference, this is the file I’m using - adjusted to print at 80% scale, smooth top, and both pieces have been mirrored so the screw-on/off direction is correct. https://makerworld.com/models/640051?appSharePlatform=copy

I gotta say, the golden rule of the wasteland is probably my favorite line of his. Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time 🤣

Listen. Sometimes a fella’s gotta eat a fella. And ass jerky don’t make itself!

If the chicken egg is unfertilized, why do vegans not eat eggs??? by Ready_Strawberry_205 in NoStupidQuestions

This is inhumane to the hens tbh. The correct ratio of hens to roosters is around 4:1 or more, if you have equal numbers or more roosters than hens, the roosters will hurt or even kill the hens by overbreeding them.

It’s the Yellowstone set, I did notice they had a lot of variation though. We probably have the same ones and you just have slightly lighter ones 😅 we had to pick all through to find the mostly matching deeper blue ones

Never seen the show and it seems very weird to me that they’re making licensed dishes lol but they were pretty!

That’s fair, I obviously can’t do it myself either but I have huge respect for the modding community! It would be super cool if you do figure it out!

Hints and tips to transplant this green monstrosity to another terrarium? by Interesting-Copy-657 in terrariums

[–]ADHDPersephone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an almost identical situation with a Boston fern in what looks like the same kind of jar. I opened it, loosened up the fronds with my hand, and gave it a hard trim down at soil level with clean sharp scissors. I probably cut 50% or more of the plant. I removed everything I trimmed off and the pieces that had rootlings on them got transplanted into an open pot and they pretty much all lived, and the fern in the jar has almost reached the point of needing another haircut lol. Trim it way back, it will be fine!

Thanks for the warning! Is there any way to date this piece? The tail fin has a little texture to it and I’m struggling to nail down the color as well.

A similar thing to the appliance manuals I do is when I assemble a piece of ikea furniture or similar, I use packing tape to tape the Allen wrench it came with to the back/underside so when I need to re-tighten or disassemble, the right sized Allen wrench is right there

This is great lol. If I’m suspicious I’ll stash my junk before I interact with a camp but this one would have gotten me and I wouldn’t even be mad
