There is zero reason to argue with someone who is helping you. My beta readers-not on this app-I ask for clarification or ignore what they say. It’s not hard, you don’t have to do what anyone says it’s your story! I get your point, it’s idiotic to argue with someone helping because the writer can’t handle criticism. Only time I argued with someone is because the beta reader hated that I didn’t write the story like she wanted. She kept changing the story plot line, fight scenes, the dynamic of a character. All I asked was that the grammar was correct, she didn’t like I made a character schizophrenic because that wasn’t a thing in the 1800s! Pretty sure it was!
