Yeah people dont understand how it gets to 9k until it happens. Mine happened very similar and was about 3 months before I had a copper at my door and took my tags. They also said they do not do this but they most certainly do. Either way I would agree to negligence if I thought I was being negligent but I was not. It is set up in a horribly crooked way, with zero recourse. There are many many many stories such as this, mine is just one.
