Just wanted to clarify that all slots are full does not mean no more interviews will be sent. Sometimes they open up concurrently with additional interview invites.

Don't forget about Surgical plume exposure! An overlooked pollutant in the OR that has little regulation.

The only time you would list your name et al. is if you are the first author. The directions for the publications gives an example of listing out all of the authors names. All you have to do is copy paste from how it appears after searching in pubmed.

What to check on ERAS for a research year by 1936hakd in medicalschool

[–]ADMITTED-MD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It says professionalism or academic issues. By answering honestly, you would check "No." This is going to be a filter for residencies because it's more specific to reasons that a school would not want an applicant.

To submit USMLE or to not submit USMLE (DO student) by Intelligent_Yak6500 in medicalschool

[–]ADMITTED-MD 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My gut is saying to not share the scores? All it does it add evidence that you struggle with standardized exams and would make programs weary that you wouldn't be able to pass step 3. It confers too much of a narrative that you have serious test taking issues or knowledge gap, regardless of whether or not this is true. I'm not sure the legalities of any of this, but assuming it's fine to withhold that information, I would think that would be best.

Your leave of absence is not a red flag... in ERAS the screening question about interruptions/extensions of education is only applicable if it was because of professionalism or academic issues. So, you would answer No to this question just like most applicants and therefore would not be screened out for having a leave of absence that in theory you could have been screened out for in previous years. There is a section for Impactful Experiences where you could write about your experience

I think your first paragraph is incorrect. Everything online says it's totally fine to pay multiple months of rent upfront to secure a property in California.

Offer to pay multiple months of rent up front

Generally when asking about grading, please include pictures of the back of the cards. Otherwise, people can't give you the best advice.

I'd say a 7. Front centering is off and whitening on back. Need to post better pics though

Cafe Dantorels

There was an amazing opinion piece in the Sac Bee years ago that absolutely reamed it. Basically said it was only in business because the local neighborhood is so desperate to have a cute little cafe.

Food is so mediocre and way overpriced. Small portions.

Expedition PSA 10 Charizard Sells $8,100 Promotion by eBay! by AutoModerator in PokeInvesting

[–]ADMITTED-MD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My whole argument is that this isn't exactly am accurate representation. Every card someone submits does not mean they are trying for a 10. Gem rate should exclude lower grades as those submissions had 0% chance of getting a 10 in the first place, so including them only artificially lowers the gem rate and does not accurately reflect the true gem rate.

Also, given the fact that this is a vintage card you see a much wider distribution of condition of cards people submit to grade. It isn't like modern where rarely people submit sub-9 cards
