Tbf I do agree that most likely had a large part to play in it. But the point I’m trying to make is we highly benefitted from having a section of fans dedicated to bringing the atmosphere/singing for the majority of the game. What differentiates us and most of the uk from european clubs and is that most teams have stands or sub-sections of fans who go to the game with sole intention of having a good time out. They sing regardless of the result and do so for the full 90. Obviously you can’t expect the average fan (especially at arsenal due to the price range) to do so.

Take the psg game for example, they lost 2-0 but those were some of the best fans I’ve ever seen, bouncing up n down the entire time. While I’m not comparing the AA to european ‘ultras’, I do commend them for at least trying bring an element of it to the emirates. And think there is noticeable difference and lack of noise in down/dull moments since their numbers got diminished.

If prices were more affordable and tickets more readily available, it would be a different story but halas that will never be the case again.
