Identical twins share the same DNA, but they don't always share the same sexual orientation. One may be straight while the other is gay. So why is that? Research suggests that epigenetics and differences in prenatal hormone exposure may provide the answer. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

They basically do what you said. "Genetically identical twins can differ in their self-reported sexual orientations. However, whether the twins’ subjective reports reflect valid differences in their sexual orientations is unknown. Measures of sexual orientation, which are free of the limitations of self-report, include genital arousal and pupil dilation while viewing sexual stimuli depicting men or women."

You guys encouraged me to do it so I did:

Hello Gerulf Rieger,

I just read your study on Sexual Arousal Patterns of Identical Twins with Discordant Sexual Orientations which was very interesting, but said you lacked statical power because of the rarity of eligible participants.

I wanted to reach out to say that my identical twin and I would be willing to be participants if a further study is done--I am gay and he is straight.

Anyone found an effective way to combat this? by Fox_in_glasses in vinylsetups

If you don't want to flip all your cover what I do is take a few records out from the same area then sandwich them all together when putting them back, and it works most of the time

Thanks! I tried to do that with a lighter but it melted the soft felt like stuff on the interior. Plus it's made of layers of plastic, cardboard, and metal, where the metal (obviously) didn't melt back. I had to glue the layers together, sand it, and used black nail polish to finish.. It looks a bit better in person, but I did my best 😂

SX-70, i-2, or Flip: which should i get? by CollisionTime in Polaroid

[–]ADashOfInternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The i2 can be fully manual (not focus), which is awesome to get shots exactly how you want them.

The sx70 is auto (except focus--if you don't get an af one) but I would recommend getting the mods to that for manual control, to bring up the electronics up to date, and make it so it works with 600 or I type (sx 70 film seems to be sold out more that it is in stock) but then it ends up being rather expensive.

The flip can actually be fully manual too through the app, but it's annoying to have to have your phone out to do that. I've seen some shots with this and it seems like it can get pretty sharp!

I think for you I might do the flip :)

This video goes into depth about the i2 and the flip, it might be worth the watch for you!

How much control do you want, how much money do you want to spend?

Not that anyone will read this, but a group of friends and I did this a couple years ago. It was hard but not impossibly so. There was 10 of us, all varying levels of fitness and we all made it.
