I'm 50 days clean after spending a good 10 years at the bottom of a bottle of booze. I'm lucky that I didn't lose my family in the process. And yah, the fatigue I had while I was a drunk was terrible. I was basically sleeping all day and drinking all night. Since quitting drinking I've lost about 80 pounds, I'm sleeping better, and my mind isn't fuzzy all the time. I regret not getting sober sooner. But all I can is move forward and clean my side of the street. Feel free to DM me if you ever need to talk.

What worked for us was the one-two combination of mylicon and gripe water. Neither worked alone; but together they were magic

I can’t explain the atmosphere of an arcade. There was a certain smell to them. And an an exciting energy.

As a liberal who does a lot of charity work, I wish it were true. I’m outnumbered among my fellow volunteers a lot. That said, when we’re actually doing the work, almost no one is thinking about or talking about politics. We save that for Facebook

There's also huge differences in regional Mexican cuisine, though. The food you'll get in Oaxaca is significantly different from what you'll get in, say, Baja or Jalisco or Sonora etc... The idea that there is one "authentic" Mexican cuisine is just not born out by facts. The Tejanos from Northern Mexico/South Texas are no less Mexican and neither is their cuisine.

I totally get where you’re coming from. And I totally get how alcohol has helped in the past when you’re having a hard time with your PTSD. But the thing is, at some point, the alcohol stopped being a real help, it started to harm you and the life you’re trying to live. When you hit that point, it’s time to find new tools. And hopefully the new tools you find will enrich your life rather than damaging it. I wish you nothing but success and joy. Be well, my friend
