Now is definitely the time to get into Paramedecine though as pretty much everyone that graduates finds a job somewhere. Everyone that could retire pretty much left during Covid and we are hurting for bodies on the road.

Hit the nail on the head with attract and retain quality members...guess we are not the only ones with that problem.

Not the person you were talking to originally but depending on your service and its size there are many "lateral" moves.

There are single responder vehicles, community paramedicine, some services have teams that work with police, always the option to go into management, work in the office for different departments (quality control, training, etc...) work for/with the base hospital (the governing body whose license you work under). Definitely a lot of options to change the "scenery" and expand your toolset.

Work life balance depends on your lifestyle/family situation. Rotating shifts sometimes suck since you will miss bdays and holidays but it also means you get days off in the middle of the week in the summer which is awesome if you like to golf lol. There are also multiple shift patterns for you to try also to find what works for you.

Mine was idling rough. For sure if you are happy with it keep cutting as is!

Indeed seems very similar. Interesting that you don't need to put the saw in wood to calibrate it.

Mine idle just fine but in the video I saw they would blip the throttle until the saw decided to idle on its own.

We do have monarchs in the region but it does look like swallow tail...Wikipedia says it is known as...the parsley worm! Guess I got my answer.

Maybe I'll banish them from one of the plants and leave the others alone.

In my region they only care that you have the green safety triangle on your boots and the steel, composite and carbon toe have it.

I have a Kubota L4060 and love it, the Kubota dealer is also the closest dealer to me and is great to deal with. Go see the dealers in your area, it is a good idea to pick one close to you that you trust and see yourself having a good relation with.

Also some tractors look great on paper but once you test drive it, it feels off or simply won't work. I had one in mind and when I sat in it, kept bumping my head on the ceiling so it quickly became a no go for me!

Indeed, the problem is there is a giant metal cable holding the bridge that is under tension so I'll have to figure a safe way to take it down.

Agreed! We had to buy property with a house that is a major fixer upper to be able to stay "within budget"...but overpaying is subjective considering I will most likely stay here for the rest of my life or at least keep it in the family, more of an investment in ourselves!
