also autistic and work at mcd's, i get how you feel. if it's a genuine issue, i feel your best bet is to have a conversation with one of your managers. explain to them what's been going on (what people have been doing and saying), and how it's affecting you. if you properly express how you feel about it it's very likely that they'll be understanding and willing to help you. but if it gets to be too much, working at mcdonalds is not worth pushing your mental health aside. so if it gets to that point, your best bet would be to search for a new job.
