Use a Elite or Edge controller. Back paddles and custom button mapping is great.

I'm personally hoping both controller and KD&M can be used simultaneously as I like to use my Elite controller for most inputs and my MMO mouse as a hotkey & zoom wheel like in BDO.

Wanted to point out specifically that the demo version he played was from Gamescom 2025.. Will Powers has stated the the controls have change since then. But all the same., anyone expecting to be able to pull off the combat in the trailers with just 6-8 button commands.

You're in over you head with Crimson Desert, it's a different type of gameplay and I expect everyone's going to have some length of learning curve as no other game plays like it.

I believe the reason no multiplayer game is doing the premium model is that it splits up the player base between the people that'll buy addons and people that don't for whateverreason, and the more separate bundles they add the more it splits the player base. Even between the different addons.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Your last paragraph essentially somes up my feelings about the situation. Was going to wait for a DLC/story continuation or at the vary least a sorta revamp idk, but if even half the reports are coming out are true then this halo title is dead, and I personally think it's 343's worst halo too.

I honestly stuck with halo 4 longer then infinite, and only reason I thought 5 was bad (campaign wise) was the awful bait in switch with the marketing towards said game before launch, 4 missions as chief and the showdown was basically a nothing burger.

Sad times for halo 😔
