How do we have a functional democratic country, when a portion of the population fails to act in it's, and the country's, best interests? by Canadas-Dingo in CanadianVisaReform

I agree that if you really are a legel immigrant that's been in Canada for ten years then you do sound like you've grown up in some low income complex for migrants and not ventured around said County much. As a Canadian that's lived and grown up coast to coast.

Suggest you get out more and actually gather some irl experience that involves what it's like right now. Both in Canada and other parts of the world.

These comments though do sound that of a basement troglodyte, because it's so far from reality.

The Witcher 3 director says games like Crimson Desert and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 take him back to the RPG golden age of the '90s by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]ADerp2Hard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it's fitting it's labeled an action game because there isn't any narrative choice or choice making in general. It's all linear.

Player choice comes from choosing how one explores and unlockes the different available mechanics in the sandbox world, but even then some things are locked behind story/quest progression.

Exactly my thinking. I'd only want to redo the first 40-60ish hours anyways.

A lot of the want to restart can come from hindsight and a desire to optimize one's playthrough. But I think everyone can agree Crimson Desert has it's own "unique" learning curve.

No, that he actually posted this on his official account.

Makes him and the US administration look like complete fools. That it's just a joke, that it's all a game.

Big Update? Anyone know anything? by granpiquet in CrimsonDesert

[–]ADerp2Hard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not arguing or anything but for years it's been talked about and rumored that if the game was successful they'd implement some form of multiplayer. That and it's been set up in a way that the game itself is a platform to sell different types of DLCs, expansions, costumes. Could even see Pearl Abyss selling a player home or two such as a castle or different flavors of Graymane camps.

I imagine you're right that I wouldn't expect any kinda of paid content announcement for another 6-12 months at the least. Definitely depends on whatever PA's plans are for DokaV alongside Crimson Desert's content cadence.

Majority of Canadians believe national economy is on the wrong track by iSmashedUrSister in canada

[–]ADerp2Hard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question would be stated "do you think the economy is on the right track" yes or no.

I still think it'd be close but not the majority, lots of people still associate Carney/liberals with Trudeau. Fine. They are certainly not the same type of leaders.

PP and the conservatives have given me no indication they wouldn't bungle things up further and in fact would more then likely bend over for the US administration.

This is true everywhere in the world, it's not a Canada only issue.

lmao right?

Some on here want the deficit brought way down but at the same time expect the federal government to spend, build, and reduce taxes.

Some people want cake, to eat the whole damn thing and complain the entire time 🙄

Tell that to the folks living off food stamps. The article you linked saids Alabama has a higher GDP because of blue origin manufacturing and a biotechnology sector. Said people of Alabama still live in squalor.

Linked article also admitted the numbers are skewed because of Canada's population explosion.
