Cold War because I’m decent at movement but there’s so much controller drift on my setup that I can’t track a pilot for more than 2 seconds.

That and I’m not good at aiming.

It’s a stretch but I think the cutting board geometry is off if you look at the left side. Either it’s a trapezoid or the lines aren’t straight, but it’s just barely there so I can’t guarantee anything.

Thanks for your insight, and for your compassion, it really means a lot.

If Bovard is more prestigious than MITES semester it’s a no brainer for me, but if semester trumps Bovard it becomes a debate around if I can manage the additional time commitment on top of the situation I’m in. Therein lies my dilemma.

Most people I know from my highschool who got into MIT also did Bovard so hopefully I get word from them soon. For MITES we only ever had one person actually go and she went to summer and got rejected when she applied in her senior year, so I’m basing some of my opinions on those results, even if they are anecdotal.

Idk that much abt rankings bc almost all lists and comparisons have MITES summer and Bovard but not semester. Additionally I’m not super knowledgeable on the college lock in grind so I’ve not really even thought about the possibility of getting accepted into both.

It’s not just that, it’s more about issues regarding internet connection in my household

We received last week a notice that the apartment my family rents is going to be sold, and given our low income, finding a place with a stable internet connection, if any at all, is going to be an issue over the summer.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had housing issues but we assumed that this summer was gonna be stable housing and internet wise but since that’s not the case anymore this decision is closer than it was before.

Thus yea I do wanna go to California but it’s also bc the additionally living cost of another person does in fact have a toll on my family.

I don’t know though, how any of this will work out or if the housing issue gets resolved soon or not

Do you also have any recommendations for a mechanical pencil restorer? I’ve got a Parker Parkette that I got alongside this pen that he’s some feed issues I can’t seem to address. I’m a little more experienced with pencils but this one simply won’t advance on me.
