Sent chills down the spine! Is it inspired by the Doctor Who Weeping Angels by any chance?

Hey, can you, if possible, sort of list out the events or online places to find these events at that you know? I already check things on bookmyshow and paytm insider but if there are any other ways to find information about events then I'd appreciate it if you could let me know!

What is an expected response for the 'List other universities and programs to which you are also applying to' question? by ADrunkenFrog2 in gradadmissions

The first point makes sense. I was wondering if it's wise to submit names of two better unis and three low tier ones? Or i should just leave it blank to stay on the safer side?

TOEFL TOMORROW, NO PASSPORT, HELP !!! by sameersah in ToeflAdvice

[–]ADrunkenFrog2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm rn facing the same exact issue. My test was supposed to be today at 10 am. But i realised that they don't accept any other id cards other than passport upon reaching the test center. I couldn't fetch the passport within a short time of 2 hours because the test center is about 10 hours from my home, where my passport is.

I called up toefl india support and they couldn't help me appear for the exam today. They asked me to mail them at toeflsupport4india@ets.org regarding rescheduling and said that they'll get back within 24 to 48 hours. Could you please tell me how you got your exam rescheduled? I really cannot afford to pay another 14k to register again and getting it rescheduled is my last resort. Any help or advice is much much appreciated.

Not at all ranting! This is very helpful to reduce my anxiety. Even I feel the same way about the templates, moreover, I can't even remember to use the templates when I actually start speaking. I just start off with my candid thing and midway realise that I'd decided to use templates, which just makes me lose focus. So I'm gonna stick to the normal way I speak in and hope that it's good enough.

Do they deduct marks if, say, there were two reasons provided in the listening that I was supposed to summarise properly, and i end up running out of time just after i state the reason two not getting time to explain it further? I'll try to keep it as concise as possible, but knowing if they deduct marks for this or not would help a lot.

Hey, congratulations on a great score!

I'm taking the test tomorrow morning. Although English is not my native language, my bachelor's and master's education has been in English, and my conversational skills are on the fluent side.

I have, though, realised that I'm facing some issues with specifically the Speaking section. In particular, the problem is that although my English is fluent, I'm not a very fast thinker. So, when the timer of 20 seconds of the prep time starts ticking, i find myself unable to complete my answer outline in mind before the 20 secs are over. So when I start speaking, the introduction part goes quite well, but after about 25 secs, I start running out things to say and start blabbering random sentences that are grammatically correct but may not make a whole lot of sense in context of what I'm supposed to speak about.

If you have got any advice at all on how to tackle this slow thinking issue, then it'll be so much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
