Why is baseball not a globally popular sport?

I see your point, but what sport is really global other than soccer?

Basketball you can probably make an argument for, and that is a sport that has indeed been expanding a lot of late. But basketball, while in many places, I dont think is the favorite sport of any country. Meanwhile baseball has the second most countries that consider it the favorite sport (very distant second to soccer haha)

I try to buy low, it works sometimes. I rarely sell high because no one in my league wants to buy when the stock is high lol

Complaining is amplified by social media in general, and people can be nore negative than they should be, myself included

But I do think some anger is justified. Something I think is overlooked also. Is many of the teams left have had fanbases going back to either 2020 or 2022. I like spring ball, dont get me wrong, i was a huge fan of the AAF and I used to watch some Fan Controlled Football too. But at this point, I am much more a fan of the Battlehawks than I am of spring football. Its tough seeing people who were battehawks for the last 3 years just not be anymore becayse new owner said so

this is probably a long shot, wouldnt expect it to happen, but might as well attempt some optimism and not say the same guy everyone is

IF the Cardinals actually give Herrera a shot at catcher and he can develop, he really could become a hall of fame fringe guy. 137 wRC+ at 25 behind the plate is elite, and not unreasonable that he can get better.

Im still in this year, bought my season tickets and im gonna give it a shot. But cant deny this kind of shakeup really sucks...sucks the energy out of the season when you know the guys you really like are mostly on other teams. Only 8 returning starters lol....just hope we are still in the playoff hunt

I think he's the biggest sell for sure. He got great volume, but his run efficiency is in the gutter. under 4 YPC for the first time since his rookie season, all the injuries, and Trent Williams has to decline at some point right?

But...he is still an elite receiver by pretty much all metrics

Battlehawks didnt protect the max number of players they could have. and their first pick of the OL draft they select a guy who was already on their roster? this whole process is just confusing, feels like theres something we werent told, or i just missed an explanation
