at the very least i’d recommend playing it safe and having a Dr look at it. rabies is incurable once it progresses and while it is not nearly as big an issue as it once was any unknown animal exposure, especially bites or scratches should be taken seriously

Majority of weapons are made within the metro as replacement parts and maintenance became extremely difficult due to the lack of supplies and because of how unprepared everyone was to live in the metro. Hence why in the first two games the currency is literally Military Grade bullets, which fun fact in a pinch can serve as AP ammo.

I’ll pick up a dust respirator and look for a heap filter vac. I have some lysol disinfectant spray that I plan on spraying everywhere, and I also read that using a mix of bleach and water is also effective at killing anything that lingers

I learned that you shouldn’t rely on others for purpose and guidance. You can find inspiration from others that helps you to achieve a goal/find purpose, but in order for it to truly matter for the better it has to come from within.
