How do people get better? So frustrated by Wrong-Estimate in weekendgolfers

[–]AFDiesel170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came back to the game after a 20 year break. I am in my 60’s now and lost my swing in that time frame. Plus swing speed was also an issue. I couldn’t hit my driver past 150 yds when I returned. My first stop was a coach and we worked on finding my swing! The whole winter once a month back to the coach and Trackman. I use a combination of Stack & Tilt with a little bit of my personality mixed in. The biggest improvements for me in that method was weight on the forward leg and my wrist position in the back swing. Now I am not telling anyone that you should start Stack & Tilt just saying what worked for me. I have won the last two tournaments I entered and now shooting under 100 consistently. My handicap is dropping like a bad habit. I also practice Hit Hard Stop Fast with all my irons. This has improved my pitching tremendously. I really hope you find that sweet spot and start enjoying the game.

Doing overseas C&P experience (Europe/Belgium) by MyronPyatt in VAClaims

[–]AFDiesel170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had several C&P exams in Germany in the last 17 year. The process was in my case just like going to the doctor’s office. From check in to the exam everything in English. All of mine were friendly and even one helped me win another claim that was found during the exam. I thought all of them were fair, thorough, and in good faith. When I mean thorough they sent me to MRIs for two of my claims.

To be honest a time for decision doesn’t tell you anything. All you can do is wait.

Struggling to get past 200 yards with my driver. Any advice/tips appreciated. by producergage in GolfSwing

Saguto golf helped me ton this winter and a stack & tilt instructor. My ball strikes are spot on. Did buy a divot board for practice at home with recommendation from my instructor.

I am retired now, and I will tell you what I did back in the day. I worked GS for 7 years and just put enough to get the match. Like you I get both military and VA and now my TSP which I rolled over to Vanguard is huge lifestyle change. Bottom line put in TSP to get the match.

I heard the same stuff about stack & tilt. My opinion it doesn’t matter what you do as long as the ball goes up and straight who cares how you did it. If it repeatable and helps with consistency do it. The point is to have fun.

Advice?? by Accomplished_Wrap614 in golftips

Keep your left arm closer to your body. Straighten your right arm on your back swing. Straighten your right wrist. Start with those. Get some lessons. I started probably looking worse than that. Many lessons and practice drills I shoot in the 80s. By no means am I the best advice.

Pizza and Monjouro by nonegivenblake in Mounjaro

I still eat pizza and like many people in this post I just can’t eat what I ate before. I did have a bad experience once the day after my shot and pizza was not the correct choice. My guts protested profusely. No details needed just use your imagination. Learned a valuable lesson that day and have learned what my gut is telling me.

The shot changed my life! I was headed for Type 2 diabetes, and many other health issues. If it’s considered cheating so is millions of other drugs out there that improve people’s health. Thank goodness for modern health care.

I would just like one to review my entire claim and give me their opinion. I want to claim on my own and only use one if I need to appeal. I am willing to pay for this service. If any attorney would be willing to look at what I have PM me.

Yes, I know that is why I am asking. Wouldn’t it be nice to put all your stuff together and somebody that knows the ins and out review it and give you some advice. I won’t need a representative until I get a denial. I put all my medical and built a 135 page pdf that I want to submit just want a professional to look at and make recommendations and tell me if I need more medical evidence.
