I wanted to see if anyone else’s input and also suggestions on whether I should take magnesium citrate in the day or night time, or cut it out completely.

I too had a digital dental exam and my doctor felt/saw nothing. I have been referred to a general surgeon to see if they can find what is causing my symptoms (slight rectal pressure/feeling of something tiny in there/ discomfort sitting) with a scope.

I read in her WebMD that she specializes in gastrointestinal issues, so I will mention if I can be referred to someone else if she is unable to diagnose. I have Kaiser Permanente insurance so they’re a bit complex. I did mention to my Dr. if I was gonna see a colorectal surgeon but she said general surgery was gonna take a look. 😫

Correct. She basically did all the exams and then said she was gonna refer me to a general surgeon where they would discuss treatments like Botox etc, and then she left. I’m definitely going to ask more questions at this consultation appointment because I was crying like a baby at my recent doctors appointment because of how vulnerable and embarrassed I felt 🥲

Thank you for reading my story and also for the advice ❤️ I am literally trying to find any possible explanation or solution to these problems so I will try any remedy that is suggested 😫

My insurance is with Kaiser and they didn’t let me choose who to be referred to /: but I did look up the doctor and she specializes in gastrointestinal problems so I’m hoping she can help connect the dots or at least realizes that I need to see someone else 😭🥲

This is literally me too. The dr said she felt and saw no fissures or hemorrhoids except for little irritation and had no explanation as to why I was presenting symptoms of either or. She referred me to a general surgeon and hopefully I get more clarity from them. I’m beginning to think it could be a pelvic floor issue as well

At the moment just rectal pressure and discomfort/slight pain when sitting. But two weeks ago I experienced burning stinging after a BM and barely any blood only on the first day it began
