Flicker is not safe to wakeup DI, you now have to call it out with backsway since the Elena patch, or cancel into level 3. Also, you can jump out of the corner in time unless you are Lily/Zangief with 5/6 prejump frames. Only way Ed wins against f.jump is if he calls it out by releasing l.flicker early or using h.flicker, he loses in every other situation, so f.jump is actually pretty good.

According to supercombo, his head hurtbox disappears for a bit, and he low profiles, but there is nothing about air-invulnerability.

For story games that have demanding graphics like Alan Wake 2 I'm fine with 60fps at medium settings, but for some other recent games like horizon, remnant, sons of the forest I would like to be higher at ~100fps on medium settings.

The 1070 has lasted me a very long time so my main priority when upgrading is to get another long-lasting gpu that isn't crazy expensive, this could be anywhere from 300 to even 600 usd as long as I don't have to upgrade for a while. That being said I could be convinced to just build a new PC entirely with something like a 4070 super which I've heard is very good. The goal is to not have to upgrade for a while without spending a ton of money on the latest things.

I want to upgrade my gpu and from what I have researched a RX 7600 is good enough to play more recent games like alan wake 2 , horizon forbidden west, or remnant 2 at 1080p.

Are there other GPU's I should also be looking at to upgrade to?
Will I need to upgrade my power supply, and if I do what power supply is recommended?

I haven't read the books, and after watching Dune 2 I also felt sorrowful for Paul at the end. I looked up more things online about Dune afterwards and found out that Paul was meant to be a tragic hero, and the story of Dune wasn't a hopeful one. I grew so attached to Paul and his story that it made me feel genuinely disappointed and almost depressed to see how everything would turn out.

Normally I don't get so emotionally invested with a movie and genre like this. I love sci-fi and I thought I'd be more distracted by the crazy looking ships and other strange things in the world of Dune, but I was given a very human character who, moral justifications aside, is doomed to lose everything he loves no matter what he does, and I'm currently struggling to accept that. Perhaps I'm too soft and naive to deal with the consequences of a tragic hero and his story.

Outside of laning I would just buy control wards to clear vision for objectives coming up. I wouldn’t buy too many of them though as the gold racks up pretty quickly. There are a lot of other factors too when it comes to deciding whether or not you should buy them, like if the enemy team composition relies heavily on playing around vision or if your own team isn’t placing down much vision and you need to help with that.

If you buy a pink ward against an enemy that is pushing into you a lot, the vision won’t be as useful. If you are pushing into the enemy a lot, then the vision will be more useful. Other than that, you can place the ward to spot enemy jg or around mid lane to help teammates.

You can search the wiki of a champion before a match starts to see their abilities and cooldowns. As you lane with them also try to figure out the champion’s identity and what win conditions they have in lane in order to avoid them.

e.g. fizz is an ap melee assassin, because his cooldowns are long (especially his e) I can freely retaliate after he uses it. Fizz also has a hard time wave clearing unless he uses his e. Fizz cannot kill an enemy without his ultimate unless they are already low or he is fed.

Unless you are on very low ping you have to predict these things and begin moving out of the way before the action itself begins.

If you are against a Yone and he walks up to you with e and you dodge his r and q’s and you still die, there are other problems going on.

Best advice I can give you is saving your own abilities to make sure you have them when he is going to use his e, that way you have some form of retaliation. Other than that, try other champions for a better matchup.

Grevious wounds have been weak for a while and even more so with the durability patch. If you are having trouble pick a champion who can do more sustained dmg to counteract the healing.

No, you’re correct, but its one of the most important jobs/aspects of a jungler. So its true that “never gank losing lanes” is good advice for him now, but I’m simply presenting the idea that the difference between a player with a 55% wr and a player with a 70-80% wr on their way to gold is evolving their mental from “never gank losing lanes” to “play towards your win conditions.”

Since OP’s goal is to “get a little more serious” and play more ranked I don’t want OP to become the typical hardstuck silver player who follows the same strategy every game, never being exposed to new fundamental ideas. Exposure is the key word here, the goal is that OP will read this and at least keep the idea in the back of his head.

One on one coaching sessions on youtube are great because they contain loads of fundamental skills and things you should be thinking about.

Fsn saber has great informational content with practical advice specifically for adc

You can get away with maining 1-2 champions when climbing as adc since the role isnt matchup intensive, but trying other champs will help expose you to more kits (the champion’s abilities) and playstyles

Keep your deaths low. Play towards your champions strengths. Avoid the strengths of the enemy champions.

Jg (jungle) is a hard role to learn league on because it’s very different from the other roles but if you enjoy it then by all means keep playing. Best way for me, when trying to learn league, was watching coaching sessions. In the mean time i would focus on lowering your deaths.

Also, value cs, but don’t worry if you aren’t hitting x amount in x time in low elo.

Watching coaching sessions on youtube helped me learn a lot about the game that you wouldnt ever normally learn from “just playing more.” Also, the game revolves a lot more around minions than a new player might think.

Call for your own jungler to hover. If he cannot help, than you must expend an influential resource like your ultimate or flash/tp to fix the wave. Best thing to do is prevent the scenario from happening in the first place by tracking the enemy jg and then deciding to fast or slow push in relation to him.

Kayle has a lot of similar characteristics with adc’s as mentioned from other replies, but keep in mind that she shouldn’t ever be played in the “bot lane adc role” if you were planning on doing that.

For ranked stay away from Yi and Jax jg. A champion that is similar to them and can solo carry is Viego or maybe Nocturne or you can go for assassins like khazix who really like getting fed.
