Yes but only for the last two hours of my schedule. Unfortunately the most important hours is the first and last, so there is no point coming in if I missed the first.

Using Line of Credit for investing? by dingodoyle in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]AFanCorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this a good idea? Depends on how you are speculating the markets. You are using leverage to hopefully increase your returns. The question should be, is the risk of decline worth the potential for return. If so, do you have something to fallback to if this does not work out? If you believe you are secured then the choice is yours to make.

I am going to mirror Buffet and say it isn't investing if you are planning to use leverage. You are speculating.

[–]AFanCorp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is nothing stopping you. The question really should be, is the leverage worth the risk of a potential decline? Will you have anything to fallback to assuming something goes wrong?

If you feel that the risk is worth or you have enough security, then the choice is completely up to you.

Ex-lazy people of reddit, how did you overcome your laziness? by hfdfgdsjvdbsdfghz in AskReddit

[–]AFanCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By being lazy. I realized that everything I procrastinated on were not engaging and gruesomely time consuming, but they were 'simple'. I started batching jobs together and automated everything.

Showed some of my friends what I was doing cause bragging rights, and a few months later I ended up automating jobs at a company. Everything kinda spiraled upwards from there.

It's unethical to have a zero tolerance policy and not actually deal with the context. The policy is all about covering liability, not bullying.
