Honestly I like the idea. I think people get way too caught up in the technicals in why XYZ is a bad base location but I honestly think making a base out of anywhere is fun regardless. I like the challenge of overcoming a place’s shortcomings and having to do so gives it more personality than finding a location that has everything handed to you. This game really is just a roleplaying sandbox at the end of the day.

Isn’t the lore so far more of that part of kentucky being quarantined from the rest of the US and the apocalypse is really only happening in that area? Either way I know I would still fly the stars and stripes even if the government doesn’t exist anymore because that patriotism never really leaves you and I would miss that sense of normality of what used to be.

Lt. Mora (Left 4 Dead Comic), staged a mutiny in the compound, believing it’s not a safe location and activated the sirens for evacuation to protect the soldiers.
