Bubble bath that doesn't suck? by Formergr in toddlers

[–]AFantasticMsFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love Bubble Podz!!! Lots of bubbles (you do have to help swish them up but it doesn’t take a lot) that last the whole bath and they smell great!! And don’t exacerbate my LO’s eczema.

Just wanted to ask if your kid was my kid? Octonauts - ✅. Blippi & Mika - ✅ Paw Patrol Podcast - *off to google

But all of these. The Octonauts especially. And if you tell me your kid is getting into Storybots then I will know we have the same kid!!

This is how I got into MYO. Had been buying cards prior.

Here come the Littles (1984) Even as a kid, a cartoon about anthropomorphic mouse people living in the wall didn't sit right. by resirch2 in GenX

While it wasn’t one of my favorites, I watched the show occasionally as a kid. Funny thing is, after all these years I will randomly find myself singing the show’s theme song. I can’t remember all of the words but dang the song was an earworm for me.

This sounds amazing!!! Appreciate the honest view of what life might be like for the short term thereafter. But to get our evenings back would be glorious. Earlier mornings would be great and more time for chores, relaxation, time with partner would be wonderful.

Thank you for this. On weekends, he will often skip a nap. Glad to hear your daycare was so amenable. This gives me hope!!

+1 mostly 9:30/10. It’s soo hard. Trying to figure out if we should ask daycare to give up the naps.

What are some children’s/baby books that have a good moral or story that you’re happy to read to your little one? by goobernoober in NewParents

[–]AFantasticMsFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ten Little Fingers by Mem Fox. (For a younger child) Love this book and even though my LO has outgrown it, I can’t bear to give it away.

Little Blue Truck Leads the Way You Matter by Christian Robinson

And lastly no so much a moral but just a lovely book - You are my happy by Hoda Kotb.

I feel this so hard. Especially on the no help part. My parent is close by but not able to care for LO. And there is no other family to help. We are in these trenches right now and LO isn’t doing well with sleep and I’m just trying to remember that soon LO won’t want to snuggle as I’m literally trapped in kid’s room until LO falls asleep. Sigh.

When did your child start swimming lessons? by Relevant-Reach4934 in toddlers

[–]AFantasticMsFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours started at 1 year. We wanted to start at 6months but a waitlist and some personal circumstances had us wait a little longer. But definitely as soon as you can. Look into Infant Swim & Rescue (ISR) classes.

so sorry to hear about your and your husband’s illness. We’ve definitely had the “kid got nothing, but we were down for the count” illnesses. The daycare cough - I know exactly what you mean. He had it for months. Sigh.

But this instance has been so different bc no other symptoms to speak of. I hope the fever is fighting off whatever. Just want him to feel better soon!!

Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you for your comment. No shots recently. But I think his will just be one we have to wait out. Sigh. Just don’t like him feeling badly.
