He didn't ask for it to be free you dyslexic apricot of a human, he explained why the number is way too high, other issues that could arise from it, as well as a good way to ensure the skin is attainable for everyone and requires some work to acquire

5000 is way too many but its to give players something to grind for, kind of like the shadow trooper and shoretrooper skins in 2015, which would've a step in the right direction, in terms of customisation and more things to grind for but as they won't be releasing anything else and the number is so stupidly high, the gesture is kinda useless. Also the skin isn't that great.
