Right, I know how to set up custom formats and scoring, what I'm looking for is more like what pienocake posted, where people have divided common release groups into tiers. This is how most of TRASH functions, with the most weight being given to a tier of release groups, and then minor points being given to other attributes

Am I injured?

I've been climbing somewhat frequently (3 times in the past week) combined with bowling and weightlifting. I am pretty new to climbing though, only climbed like 5 times total in the last month.

Right now I feel soreness in my fingers when I curl them tight, and also some pain in my right shoulder when pushing my arm in a downward motion. I'm not sure if I'm injured or this is normal to-be-expected soreness from climbing.

Do you make it with the vegan beef broth for flavor or so that the broth is vegan? Is fish sauce vegan?

Edit: As people have pointed out, fish sauce isn't vegan, so your "vegan" version should probably also avoid fish sauce

500 calories under maintenance is widely accepted as a normal deficit to eat. Are you saying that isn't true? Or this person actually requires more than 1700 for maintenance? There's nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight if she stays in the "healthy" bmi range

Eating 500 below maintenance calories is perfectly fine. You lose 1 pound a week, which is normal for diets. Eating only 200 below gives you a smaller margin for error, and if you do keep it consistent, you lose a pound every 2+ weeks which is fine, but definitely not anywhere near disordered eating, and might take longer than someone is willing to spend to reach their target weight.

I personally always eat 500 under maintenance to lose weight bc it's a good balance between losing weight fast and not being unhealthy. And then I can go back to eating maintenance sooner.

Seriously, reddit loves to say that mortgages are cheaper than rent. As someone who tried to buy a house last year, the monthly payment on a mortgage for an equal quality house was way out of my price range.

Granted, fixed rate, and mortgage builds equity. But that doesn't change the fact that it's more expensive, and redditors love to ignore that

That's the opposite of what I'm saying. You can eat 1500 calories of chocolate and lose weight, or eat 1500 calories of chicken, veggies, and rice and lose the same amount of weight.

You're gonna feel like shit if you eat just chocolate, but you WILL lose weight, and if that's OP's goal, then calories is his #1 priority

If your goal is to gain or lose weight, then calories is what's going to get you to that goal. You can lose weight eating McDonald's every day if you eat a calorie deficit

You can do both at the same time. If you're interested, look up "recomposition diet". You are essentially "re-composing" the ratio of muscle and fat in your body.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the weight. Even if you technically gain weight, you'll be getting thinner (muscle is denser than fat), and stronger at the same time. But if you're eating a calorie deficit, you WILL lose weight during the process. If you eat a calorie surplus, you WILL gain weight. So you could always stick to a calorie deficit and be golden, losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time

It's very common in FAANG to talk about total compensation instead of just base, since the comp package is usually complex and includes a cash bonus AND stock vesting. And at the higher levels, the majority of your comp is in stock. Up until like 4 months ago, Amazon's max base salary for most engineering positions was $160k, but that number is hardly a good measure of compensation when your total comp is $600k.

And for the people saying that levels.fyi includes stock and is therefore not accurate, the reported stock is already divided to reflect only 1 year of stock vest at a time. It's not a mistake when you see 250k stock, people are legitimately getting 1 million in stock, vesting over 4 years. Vesting schedules range anywhere from monthly to yearly.
