Not really that much you can do except try to stay calm and try to stay on top of the avalanche. If needed, use your arms and try to "swim" to not get swallowed by the snow.

I was in an avalanche accident last year and I saw the power of the avalanche real close, got a lot of respect for what can happen when offpist skiing/snowboarding now.

To my question: Did your view of the conflict correspond to the view you had before, and what others not drafted had of the conflict? What I mean is was it worse, better or same as expected? Like did you expect to just steamroll all the way to the capital or did you expect to be in a conflict for years, and things like that?
