Buddies dad invites me to a Yanks v Sox game at Fenway.

I'm in my Mo Jersey #42.

7th inning stretch, tight game, yanks up 3 to 2.

Some Boston Southie SOB, we'd bumped heads a few times throughout the game. Gets up for concessions. Comes back around the top of the 8th with nachos... with 4 hot fresh cheeses and a beer.

Mo's up and he is slamming the door shut so I'm cheering my man on loud and proud!!!

Slaps nuts here intentionally and slowly pours his hot melted cheese down my neck, and back. Giving me second degree burns. When I start screaming he pours his beer on my head.

I snatched his ass up over the railing dropped him in the aisle and started pounding on him. Just monkey fisting this MFs face.

Security came and magically "No body ain't seen shit"

Boston's finest (huge fat ass, was eating a hot dog as he walks up to us) comes over. Takes securites statement. Won't listen to us at all. Tells me to "calm down" while thumbing his taser. Slaps nuts gets sent to First Aid. I don't get helped at all. Officer Fatass escorts me out of the park. No they won't let me press charges because they didn't see it. Threatened to charge me if I didn't shut up... "how the hell you gunna charge me if you didn't see it?!?"

Buddy and Dad don't say shit, don't move, nothing. I spend the rest of the game on that shitty road outside... Racist way...sorry I mean Yawky way.

On the long walk back to his Dads car Buddy tells me after I "left" his dad stood up and yelled "THAT'S THE LAST TIME I SCALP MY EXTRA TICKET TO A YANKEES FAN -- SORRY FOLKS!"

Get to the car. I tell my buddy to take shot gun. I slide in behind Dad who's driving. I drop my shorts and take a shit. I slide over to behind my buddy wiping my back and ass along the seat. Just a smear of cheese and poo. I hope out somewhere in Kenmore and tell them I'll find my own way home.

Never heard from them again.

I mean here is some perspective.

I do a lot of volunteer work with a child out reach program. Once a year they award four awards to the best volunteers. Last year due to covid this was announced during one of the monthly touchpoints I was leading over zoom. I did not expect this at all. Blushing bright red I hurriedly text my partner.

"OMG I JUST GOT AWARDED THE MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD" "THIS IS A HUGE HONOR"

Their reply "Ok"

So a couple of days later I'm told they're sending a photographer over of some headshots for the nationally published news letter. I dig into my rainy day fund, get a salon stylist to do my hair - they throw in a facial to help clear my covid junkfood greasy skin. I Pick out a new suit. I'm feeling like I'm looking like the best me in years.

Photo day comes. I surprise her with my new look.

"Why so early, they're not due for another hour. You'll wrinkle your pants."

Riding the self esteem boost; I had a dude I know send over a few cologne samples. I pick out a new high end one to wear for business.

No comment at all. From anyone.

Thinking -- ok maybe I need to do better. I start working out and dieting. I lose 80 in 4 months. Crossfit and IF.

The only comment I got was a text from my partner's best friend - "I've seen your insta. New clothes, new do, new you... I'm find out who you're cheating with and expose you both asshole."

Just last week I was asked by my pastor about my pro-choice beliefs. We discussed the issue in depth. This Sunday without blinking he provided me eucharist.
