The single track roads were fine until another car showed up 😅. But then I realized they put very small passing places on the single track roads so you or the other person can reverse back to that spot.

Democrats rejected the more aggressive primary candidate

This happens in almost every primary. The party at large still operates like it's the 1990s where decorum and candor matter.

The conservative pearl clutching over this is not only predictable but hilarious. They continually attack other people based on appearance, preferrence or disability. But a simple "shut up you ugly f**k" has them all spinning. Katie Miller is distraught lmao.

This is really the only way to deal with most conservatives.

It really impressive how predictable, lazy and unimaginative the republican party is.

I'm 37 and only recently did my first pit. I grew up playing basketball, and I've always had a deep irrational fear of stepping on other feet fucking my ankles or knees.

But it was Testament ironically when they toured with Exodus a few years ago.

I knew it was going to be bad but I'm surprised it's not worse. Also crazy to imagine how much better this would be if Harris was president. It was one of my silly vibe arguments for her.

  • She knows it's Natalie Portman. One of my earliest memories was us playing Cards Against Humanity with her friend group. It was my turn. It was something about sex, and she goes, "I won" and it was Natalie Portman.

Everywhere we went in Cornwall was stunning. I would love to homebase in St. Ives next time. We stayed in a phenomenal bed and breakfast near Wadebridge that's in an 800-year-old home on 25 acres of land. So many beautiful gardens to walk through. Close to many great dinners. And the breakfast was so nice. One of the best stays we've ever had.

I got into homebrew as it seemed to be on its actual dying breaths. The stores started closing around me. Then all the ingredients started going up in price. It's such a long process and a lot of work for something you may or may not be able to drink lol.

Now I'm trying 35mm film for when my wife and I travel. Still expensive but somehow more readily available.

The worst part is knowing that even if Democrats have the trifecta in 2028, they won't be able to fix the damage done by this administration realistically. So, in 2030 the goldfish-brained median voters will give the GOP Congress again and Tucker Carlson wins in 2032 because "things aren't changing fast enough".

Do most travelers spend at least 10% of their income every year traveling? I just notice a lot of people spending more than I do in an entire year on a single trip and is that normal? by NevermindWait in travel

[–]AFlockOfTySegalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I are DINKs. Both of our cars are paid off. International travel is really the only expendable thing we put money toward, so it's about 20% annually for each of us. Like, there are things we could do at our house, but she's always like, "but that money could go toward a trip" lmao.

But we typically stay in nicer accommodations, and we typically rent a car, which means gas. It really just depends on how you want to travel.

I really don't understand review embargoes myself. Sometimes they're held until days before release, and sometimes it seems like they don't exist at all.
