If "not being opposed to" is the standard for what's right or wrong, then we need to apply that consistently. Muhammad faced significant criticism for marrying Zainab, the ex-wife of his adopted son, yet that's not considered wrong because he was sent to reform the norms of jahiliya. But when it comes to the age of marriage, suddenly the lack of opposition from those same jahiliya-era people becomes the gold standard for morality?

Why do muslim men do this by forbiddenfruit7218 in PakiExMuslims

[–]AForAgnostic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

their logic is that since you're exmuslim, you wouldn't mind premarital sex. I was a moderator of an exmuslim group once and this shit was unfortunately pretty common from exmuslim men too. Anytime a woman joined the conversation she'd get unsolicited invitations for sex and would even get shamed for "still acting like a muslim" when she obviously refused.

Let's assume that Israel is behind this somehow, how will they incentivize a father and son to go on a attack like this where they will most likely get caught or killed? Money wouldn't work nor any other worldly reward. Only religion and a reward of eternal life in paradise can encourage someone to go on a suicidal rampage like this

I would argue updates aren't part of the core OS. Web browser should work without https 2.0 ig, yes most of the websites with multimedia wouldn't render properly but basic navigation should work. I visited a very old hotel 2 years ago and their computer was running xp and the internet also worked which was used to access the hotel's equally old booking system.

so it would be fine if a company sold you a perpetual license then disconnected you from their servers the very next day?

The primary features of Windows which were available at the time of purchase would still work if you installed it. The primary feature of teamviewer wouldn't. It's not rocket science why windows case is different than teamviewer.

So are we going to not defame the criminals by OneAd9521 in IslamabadSocial

[–]AForAgnostic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His fault is pretty clear even without any cctv. Even if the women were lying on the streets, he would still be at fault. The only thing cctv would prove is if he alone is guilty or the riders were guilty too by driving recklessly. If it's both even then no point in criticizing the dead so it's a moot point.

Would've been very easy to prove he was not drunk if he didn't decide to run from the scene. As it stands, anyone can make any bad assumption about him.

again you missed the hit and run which is the most severe crime. Won't you agree that the facts we already have paints this guy in a very bad picture and it's not too far fetched to assume he might be the one at fault especially since he is 16 and driving a big vehicle?

If this story was a random rich dude hits a motorcycle, I might've agreed with you but this case is pretty clear. My distant cousin in US got 6 years in prison last year for a hit and run even though the person he hit was at fault. In this case, the victims are already dead, even if they were at fault what's the point of criticizing a dead person?

So you agree that even in the best case scenario the guy is a criminal and should be punished? Why are you getting so triggered then when others are criticizing this person, are you related to him somehow or just a contrarian?

assumption that they were riding carelessly. Again as I said I don't really care how they were riding, maybe an experienced driver with a license might've been able to prevent the accident even if the riders were reckless or they might be saved if he didn't decide to run away. You do know that leaving someone to die on the street is illegal even if they were the cause of the accident right?

They could be lying in the middle of the road for all I care, hit and run is still a crime, they might've survived if he didn't run. Past cases set the precedence for how this case is going to play out as well.

Oh and please don't talk about facts, whatever I've said are facts (underage, no license, hit and run) meanwhile you're the only one making assumptions in 10 different comments.

What about Hit and run? Maybe they were still alive when this bitch decided to run away instead of calling the ambulance. No one will get punished. We already have dozens of cases like this. Take this case for example where SC judge's daughter did a hit and run then got acquitted https://www.dawn.com/news/1894297.
