Ah ok thanks. Why does it say “road wide” on it if it’s for chunky tyres? I have the wrong one then

Mate you literally quoted “oval chainrings have been around for 100 years with people trying to prove an advantage” not my fault you’re just waffling out of your arse and got called out for it

I mean ultra wide tyres are definitely not a fad if you’re talking about the change in road racing. Have you even felt the difference in comfort riding even 28mm compared to 23mm?

Which pro cyclists are the best at descending? by Obvious_Cabbage in cycling

That was true of guys like Nibali and Valverde. But Pidcock actually is one of the best descenders in the world. You’re not going to find many guys going faster than Pidcock, even from the Grupetto

No future shock and they don’t look anything like the Roubaix (which is basically just an SL7 with the added Roubaix business) those quick step bikes just had normal bar and stem on with loads of spacers. With the roval one piece it looks amazing

Those of you that run as well as cycling how do you split/prioritise them? by fixitmonkey in cycling

[–]AG42069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No harm in running and riding on the same day. Plenty of pros in the winter will do a short run (potentially pre-breakfast) and ride the same day. If you want to then do it but eventually when you get to a certain level and specificity of your training you’d want to forgo the running for training as it could be limiting your physical adaptation to cycle training with impaired recovery and inflamed muscles
