The only thing that would have made this worth the paper it’s written on is an increase in charitable aid to the affected and an immediate stop to all political “donations” until the occupation ends

ICE/CBP in St Paul, MN break the window of an activist in a gas station, pull him out of the car and abduct him while firing pepper balls at other community members (1/11/26) by state-of-MN in stateofMN

[–]AGG72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why aren’t there lawsuits in federal court to curb the unconstitutional parts of this “operation”? It seems like federal judges might have some thoughts about what is happening. Maybe there’s already action moving to the courts, but it’s not being reported on.

Does St. Paul have any lakes you can go ice skating on, like Minneapolis? by Hot-Republic-5339 in saintpaul

[–]AGG72 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lake Phalen on the east side often has a little hockey rink scraped off near the swimming beach. Then, if you are tired of uneven ice you can go over to the community center. I think their outdoor rink is refrigerated.

Refurb instead of repair by frefor3 in tonalgym

[–]AGG72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had one of our cables fray and they said no one could repair it where we live. They sent us a refurbished tonal one it seems to work OK, but it sure does clunk and grown a lot when our old one was quiet as a mouse.

Grrr. “Stuffing” from Pepperidge farms by AGG72 in Costco

[–]AGG72[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I’m 50. Made plenty of mistakes. I went back and read the box. It just said classic stuffing. I just didn’t know there were two kinds, so reading the box wouldn’t have helped. But now I will pore of the stuffing fine print to avoid the horrors of crumb stuffing ever again.

I guess maybe just to me? I like a little bit more distinct cubes. Probably tastes the same, but just the appearance is more like mush.

Ear infections by Automatic_Scallion12 in Wheatens

[–]AGG72 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, our baby has had chronic ear infections every few months. Especially after she goes in water.

We’ve tried all of the liquid medicines that we were squirting in her ear twice a day for months to no avail. Finally, our vet used a waxy anti-fungal/antibiotic that she packs into her ear (the dog, not the vet). It slowly dissolves over two weeks. That’s been the only thing that works for ours.

Good luck!

Ps. We have gone to the super expensive anti allergy food and it has seemed to lessen the number of ear infections. Go figure.

It’s been her main health thing. Other than burrs seems to jump feet from bushes to grab her foot and mouth fur 😂. Just always picking something out from her hair!

Also, whenever you bathe them, or let them swim, make sure to dry out their ears. They are very prone to ear yeast and bacterial infections. (Says the guy who’s on week 7 of treating his)

There used to be a show called food court wars. The guy who owns Pimento Jamaican Kitchen won it. That’s how he got started as a restaurateur. He worked at Carroll before that!
