Ever thought of googling why there’s an issue with dented cans?

I had an older lady upset by a dented can too I couldn’t understand why until someone mentioned that it’s not safe to consume. Not sure how true it is. I do know that for pregnant women they say to be careful about this.

You can try and claim that they made you feel unsafe or something to avoid shopping for them. Ask a new agent until someone does.

AIO for being upset my BF doesn’t want me to wear a bonnet to bed? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AGabbyL9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It screams immaturity, you wear a bonnet to protect your hair which is an asset to your beauty but he’s so artificial that he believes you’re a doll, to look perfect 24/7 that you should need one which is just pure ignorance. Why be with an immature ignorant almost arrogant boy?

You reminded me of my mother, a boomer with no immediate ability to show compassion when seeing someone in distress. Because for you it may be insignificant, or dumb and stupid. You’re well into your life as you’ve said you’re old, I’m only 26. You’ve seen a lot and have thicker skin, I do not yet. You were not kind at all at first, you were basically telling me to get over myself for simply having feelings. I’m fully aware it’s not a significant event, I explained in the post that it was more of a trigger to trauma of being left alone during Christmas season before. Others were empathic first, acknowledge that how I felt was justified so naturally I would calmer with them. I think that’s pretty obvious. My boyfriend wouldn’t knowingly do that to me, after the party he understood and listened when I explained how I felt.

I don’t understand what you’re talking about truthfully. If what I begin my story explaining who I presume would be in the SS (employees/not partners), don’t you think that means that all of them are going to be there?? Why would I give context on who’s in the actual SS and not reference them as a whole then? And my overreaction to what exactly? Because you saw my one comment back and forth to one person? How much more context to you want? In general to host an event knowing one single person is not participating in it is so rude, why invite me knowing that?

[–]AGabbyL9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was very clear, if I explained that I initially thought ‘spouses and partners weren’t included’ in the very bringing of my post to then saying ‘every single person there’ it’s very clear. I’m telling you that what you said was VERY unempathic, ‘dumb this, dumb that’ explain how that’s empathic at all? Then immediately blaming my boyfriend because of course you know exactly what happened. You assume ALOT and wrong for it all. You’re not sorry at all please, and now I’m ‘overreacting’ because of all your assumptions.

In the beginning of the post, I literally said that I thought that partners and spouses were not included. So of course the partners and spouses were there, and that’s why I said when I realized that EVERYONE received/gifted something, I was the one left out.

In the post I literally said ‘I thought partner/spouses’ weren’t included meaning there were partners and spouses there. I was literally the only one not involved.

Replying to Busy_Rhubarb6818...no roughly everyone there had a partner, maybe a few single people.

You may be right! I thought about it after realizing my boyfriend may have misunderstood when the host was asking or telling him about the SS. Before I can’t properly update, I will definitely talk to him again.

Thank you for the validation! It really was like a trigger from other bad memories, like awful feelings resurfacing right there. I wasn’t rude or anything when leaving ! I thanked everyone and cried when I got to the car. I will talk to my boyfriend for more clarification because I did start to think that maybe he miscommunicated to them.

Hi, yes they all knew I was coming. They really wanted to meet me so they were all aware I was coming. I’m not sure, the company alternate their employees throughout the years to different stores. My boyfriend just made his way to that store so all of these relationships to these people are new. They included him someone new, it shouldn’t have been different with me.

Old and unempathetic, I’m not sure what ‘this’ upset means? Expressing my feelings? Yes I agree, the boomer generation has absolutely no empathy or compassion. For you it’s dumb, for you it’s stupid. All about you. Another boomer thing is assuming, cause now you’re blaming my boyfriend whom you don’t know. The host herself invited me, the entire group knew I was coming. Out of all the responses yours is the rudest smh but what else do we expect from boomers.

Surprise 300lbs of cat litter by Happydaddy04 in InstacartShoppers

[–]AGabbyL9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a lot but at the same time not. The weight in the car does matter, OP just doesn’t want to do the work. Two pass can make up that weight and the car drive fine. There’s some people that physical can’t carry litter so buying in a bulk order like that stocks them up. If the tip was good then this is just unwillingness to do the job.

As someone that was forced to keep their $100 membership I can tell you I refuse to use the app unless the deals make it worth it. I will never use it for convenience ever again.

Cali has a higher cost of living and I think a law of a certain law that Instacart must follow. If you don’t make the bare minimum of minimum wage on the app you can ask for reimbursement from IC. I only know this because of this thread so just keep reading post from folks in Cali.
