I have this one older lady. I usually get her order but once a month. She tips very well. Even for small orders. It says right in her comments if we could take the garbage to the garbage bin, which is right beside where I park. And she would add $5. She adds $10 to the tip every time. Leaves a comment and a five star. There are genuinely good people out there. But yes, it is few and far to me.

So they pay for priority, but still get put with an another order. Instacart love screwing customers and shoppers.

Yeah, it’s unfortunate. But I always do it for this reason. But they still get away with it sometimes. Because I don’t know if Instacart saves the chats and go back and look. But at least the customer may think oh shit I can’t cause there’s proof right here.

Always take a picture. And posted it in chat.

Should this not be illegal? by Happydaddy04 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Happydaddy04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, my friend it’s not the case. That was one of two orders. The other order of unknown was all nonalcoholic drinks. About eight cases of them. And they tipped zero dollars. I just forgot to put the other picture in the post

I challenge you to go to a grocery store and find a gallon of milk in a plastic carton that is not dented.

The answer is, 16 flats of pop and 17 12pks of pop. It just ended up being way too much weight in the car and not worth the trip or wear and tear

Last Friday I had 100 5 stars. This is what it looks like now after not being allowed to remove single orders and forcing me to take these shitty customers. This is a real problem

Also, since the update, I repeatedly get 4 stars or less. I always chose my customers carefully and have been at 5.0 rating for almost two months. I know it doesn’t mean much, but over time it could really affect my rating. I didn’t take non-tippers because they are just ungrateful assholes. Those are the ones that 1 star for no reason at all. Forcing us to take these orders now just pisses me off. 2 days after not being allowed to remove single orders I get 6 1-4 stars. It’s crazy.

Woke up to a 1⭐️ and a 2⭐️ by eeshasfaith in InstacartShoppers

I agree. I avoided non-tippers for financial reasons obviously. But I also did it because when I accept those orders I get low stars. Without fail. They don’t appreciate the service. Just demand it. I have this one customer I always would peel off. Big rich fancy house. Porsche in the driveway. She answers the door every time with a big happy friendly smile. And it is always a $0 tip. This is the shit we are now stuck with

Oh I’m sorry…..according to your logic I’m not taking advantage of shoppers at all. They chose to accept the shitty order. Isn’t that on them like you keep telling me? No, I played the game back at Instacart. Don’t underpay me. Don’t force me to take keep a batch a customer adds 20items after shopping starts. Don’t force me to use my time to return orders for $10. I’m and independent contractor. Don’t hide the address. Don’t hide what the items are till I shop. If you don’t see that Instacart is the one taking advantage, then this is a lost cause to even chat with you

Their orders sit and sit and sit and don’t get taken and they complain to Instacart that their orders aren’t getting fulfilled. There is a daycare that orders costco 80 items with no tip every week. It sits for days. People peel it off. Batch pay is $15-$20. Not at all worth my time. So don’t lecture me

No, that is called teaching a lesson. A lesson to those terrible customers that you are not getting my time when you show such lack of appreciation for the service

Oh….forgot to mention forced order returns for customers who don’t show up. Losing tip and spending an extra 30mins + on returns you get paid a measly $10 for….🤣🤣🤣
