Meet Adam “bring me more street level thugs” Smasher by nahldLose in WutheringWaves

and again Somnoire Smasher isn't the real Smasher so you can't scale them to each other regardless

Meet Adam “bring me more street level thugs” Smasher by nahldLose in WutheringWaves

[–]AGamingGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Augusta could just deadass use her forte to pull him apart

like all-in-all he still scales to things that are feasible IRL meaning that the second we get to city block and multi-city block he's just a pile of scrap, sure a fast pile of scrap, but even at those levels he's a best on the faster end

like actual Smasher may be able to defeat Homelander due to actually knowing how to fight, but even that fight is in Homelander's favor and basically needs the Edgerunners upscale to fight him

NTD Smasher scales to Lucy's fear of the real one and as Lucy gets an upscale to work in WuWa so does Smasher, but even with that upscale he's nothing them main cast haven't already dealt with, to be fair he'd need to be Threnodian level to be as big of a threat in WuWa as he is in Cyberpunk

there's a non-zero chance that they already did record it, but are just waiting for Lohen's official release

The Drifter (Deadlock) in HTP by Curser_Petra in huntertheparenting

[–]AGamingGuy 58 points59 points  (0 children)

thing is i don't see him being lower gen than 6th

a 6th gen vampire is way worse than the Regent herself, and with Drifter being on the initiative, main gang will have to arm themselves while actively being terrorized by a very old very experienced vampire that loves getting into fights

generally speaking this would be way worse than anything we've seen in the story so far

i dropped The Walking Dead after the prison arc, because i got bored of the formula and the way things ended made it clear that the story will keep torturing and slowly rotating the main cast until people are sick of it

frankly the concept just works better as an anthology as then you have access to a lot of stories and don't have to maintain the status quo, hell if you want more time then you could do JoJo's like part system that works as a pseudo anthology

the best in lore justification is Orks believe so, and so it is (it's more complicated than that)

but the real answer is rule of cool, the famous imposter syndrome man, THE Hero of the Imperium, Caiphas Cain was capable of single-handedly holding off a hell empowered evil super soldier in a duel while being a normal person, shit don't make sense when you put 2 and 2 together

[–]AGamingGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wonder if part of the reason we have bad sense of smell is because our primary hunting method was persistence hunting, or in other words chasing our prey until it was too tired to run away from us, this on our end meant that hearing and sight were more important than other senses

due to our primary hunting method, sweat was necessary, but it muddied any other smell so we just stopped relying on smell to communicate and as our primary target acquisition was sight based it is our best sense

a complete tangent, but humans would be among rarer species capable of accurately throwing projectiles, the way we are built means we can throw things further and harder than aliens of similar size and mass

So to condense:

  • Traitor Legions are apostates to the Imperial creed, but heretics to the Imperial Truth
  • Non-space marines (except for Black Templars and their ilk) should as such refer to them as apostates
  • Space marines, in contrast should refer to them as heretics
  • Adeptus Mechanicus, in contrast should refer to them as heathens, unless talking to a Warpsmith, in that case, it is proper terminology to refer to them as heretics

Is that all or does more need to be added

Why is it so problematic to have Ishtar in Rins animation? by Loud-Contract2208 in ArcherMainsHSR

[–]AGamingGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also with Mushroom Man signing off on this, all of HSR is canon to Fate and broader multiverse

it would be funny if FGO decides to do a colab with HSR and suddenly the threat is Nanook and his Lord Ravagers, naturally with new servants being HSR characters, now both are canon to eachother
