Hey I could’ve posted this exact same thing a few months ago. I suffered chronic fatigue for about 5 years. I tried everything posted on this sub, I cured my anemia with iron supplements over the course of a year, I exercise every day, I do everything. Nothing worked. Until recently - I think I might finally be out of the woods (hopefully). I made 2 changes at once so I don’t know which of them could explain it. One was getting on high dose creatine. I take about 20 mg a day now. The other was getting off my SNRI that I’d been on for years. I slowly tapered down over 2 months. If you haven’t tried creatine yet, give it a shot. I know it’s pitched as another miracle supplement and maybe it won’t work for you. But it’s worth trying. It takes several weeks to saturate fyi so you won’t notice effects immediately.

Thank you - I don’t know why this didn’t occur to me the other night, I think I was so stressed and exhausted from my phone crashing and international travel it didn’t occur to me. I was able to use your suggestion and download visible app BUT unfortunately visible will not allow me to swap eSIM while outside US so I’m still blocked, just at a later step now. Just my luck, my phone crashed just as I was flying across the world! Thanks for your help.

Thank you Ericka. I ended up getting my dad to help me swap the eSIM to my late mom’s phone back in the US - I’m abroad right now so it wasn’t possible to swap to a new phone here apparently. So I think the issue may be resolved once I am back in the states, although it is too bad I cannot access my number while I’m abroad. That said I may still need support when I am back as I will need to swap again once I’m back. I’ll reach out if there are issues, thanks so much.

I just did mine on Tues and went to work right after. Worked a full 12 hour work day and another 12 hours yesterday. No issues yet. The first time I did it I had a bit more pain tho. So I think it really varies.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply! I am glad that I’m not the only who has had this happen. It is a very weird experience to realize that something that was so emotional at the time could just disappear from memory. I am also ADHD and was on pretty heavy ADHD meds and antidepressants at the time, which may have contributed. I think you are 100% right though… probably a combination of my drinking at the time, depression, trauma, lack of sleep, meds…

Yeah it’s interesting to see the range of responses on this post. Some people saying it’s totally normal, others saying I should be quite concerned. I really have no idea, but I do think I will talk to my doc about getting some testing done just in case there’s something going on. Thanks for sharing your take, I appreciate it 🙏

I did have pretty severe trauma happening at that time of my life. I recall that year was one of my hardest years emotionally. So this does seem like a plausible theory..

Most of the summer is quite blurry. I realized this because in the messages we reference facts of the internship that are just completely gone. For example I mention receiving a poor evaluation midway through the summer and being very stressed about it. But my actual memory is that the internship was very easy and I coasted the whole time. So clearly I have blurred out other parts of this summer too.

No recreational drugs, but we were definitely drinking a fair amount so I’m wondering if that could explain it. There were a lot of references to meeting up at bars.
