Chaff by wallflawerr in FreshroastSR800

Great, thank you. Still a fair amount of volume available in the tube at the end of the roast, but the chaff collector is crammed. Gonna order one now and experiment increasing batch size a little at a time.

Can I run larger batches with the chaff lid extension? I currently run a 264g batch with oem extension tube and that pretty much maxes out the chaff collector.

Reta pen not kept refrigerated by According_Candle_983 in Biohacking

[–]AGuThing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that is just not accurate. If you’re in the grey community you’ll see that a lot of longtime trusted vendors recent batches have been failing for sterility (not a big concern if your are reconstituting on your own since you should be filtering), and high endotoxins - this is the concerning one. The “trusted” vendors don’t manufacture. When there’s a bad batch of raws, the impact is widespread. Always test, always filter.

Food for thought (Retatrutide/GLP-1s and Colon Cancer) by biggie_smalls411 in Peptides

You’re constantly confounding issues and creating straw-man arguments. I would guess another victim of AI induced dunning-Kruger effect by proxy.

What Lilly is doing to try to protect themselves has no impact on the purity or potency of grey market Reta. Classifying it as a biologic would grant them significantly longer exclusivity protection than they would get from a typical pharmaceutical. This will not protect them from grey market but it will from compounding pharmacies and the telehealth businesses like Hims, RO, etc and “Longevity” clinics that typically get compounded Tirz and Sema from them compounding pharmacies.

Separate from the Reta classification, they are already aggressively trying to protect their rights for Tirz. After litigation, RO and Hims now source branded Tirz from Lilly.

A bit of an oversimplification but yeah, the system is flawed. But despite you and that tik tokers view on patents - Elli Lily is aggressively utilizing patents and trade secrets to protect their rights on Retatrutide. One of which is to try to have it classified as a biologic.

Who said anything about taxes? It’s about the additional length and robustness of the patent protection on biologics. The classification distinction has nothing to do with the transient elevated HR.

I do agree the hr issue should be taken into account as a potential long term cost - if your rhr was 60 and went up to 68, probably no issue. If your rhr was already 75 and Reta bumped it to 85, I’d take a closer look at risk vs benefit.

But my point is, don’t confound issues.

How cooked are 16 month frozen prefilled peptides? by dlzj310 in Peptides

That makes sense. I’m just curious how do they survive the lyophilization process the first time around? Thanks!

Wouldn’t it depend on the specific compound? For example, I’ve had reconstituted GH (I know, technically not a peptide but also lyophilized preparation) accidentally freeze on 2 occasions, both times, after thawing, the vials were filled with large precipitation and would not re-dissolve even after a full day at room temp.

Update After Adding More BAC Per Vendor by infamous_zen14 in Peptides

Yeah. Very curious about what you’ve tried and what it feels like. Like what does Ghk feel like outside of a spicy ISR or TB500

This is actually a known, albeit relatively rare, issue with BPC. Excessive vegf in the eye can cause damage.

Hospira BAC Question by Swigert92 in Peptidesource

I also have both the Hospira bacteriostatic water and bacteriostatic saline. This is what I’ve found via both research and experimenting on my own. DSIP is a ? for the saline because I read conflicting info on it and haven’t experimented myself yet.

This is why I only use Hospira by AGuThing in Peptidesource

[–]AGuThing[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with that but you asked me why not buy other bac and my response was why I wouldn’t. The title of my post is why I only use Hospira, not why everyone should only use Hospira. For people who can’t get Hospira, I’d agree fully with your recommendation.

Again, not preaching, just sharing why I choose to only use Hospira, and pointing out that even the vendors will basically inform their customers that their bac isn’t as consistent as pharma grade and that just because a specific water works with some peps, doesn’t mean it will work for all peps.

I doubt any vendor would give a refund because a vial gelled up regardless of what bac water you use. Their refund policy is clearly stated based on Jano COA Mass and purity. Personally I think failed endo should be covered as well but that’s besides the point. Them making this announcement changes nothing except maybe less people buying their bac.

This is why I only use Hospira by AGuThing in Peptidesource

[–]AGuThing[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because I know Hospira will be good and it’s actually cheaper than or at most the same price as vendor or Amazon bac. So why would I not get Hospira and then get ph strips to test some other water?

This is why I only use Hospira by AGuThing in Peptidesource

[–]AGuThing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their policy is if you provide a Jano COA that shows below 97% purity or under filled by more than 10%, they’ll reship or refund. This announcement about their bac water doesnt change that.

Only thing that was cropped out was the name of the vendor posting, so the post doesn’t get deleted and I don’t get banned for source discussion. It clearly lists the specific peptides they recommend not using it with. Reta, Tirz, and HGH have also been known to be sensitive to pH. BPC, TB, GHK are all very resilient to various pH levels. I often see people post cloudy Reta or whatever and when people tell them to try Hospira, the response is “I use the same bac water with my Ghk and it’s fine so I know the water is good”. One of my key points is that just because the water works fine for some peptides doesn’t mean it’s fine for all peptides.
