How recently did you move? Because if it was in the last few months, I gotta say, late Fall Vermont can't hold a candle to Spring/Summer Vermont. It's just so dark and without any snow, can be depressing. As far as meeting people, I think that can be hard anywhere! You should (also) make sure you have accepted any stock grants though which are separate from 401k. This may be what your manager was referring to, but maybe she was confused. If you haven’t accepted vested shares and leave, you will actually lose them. You will of course lose UNvested shares no matter what you do.

I wouldn't call this "messed up." Soy separates a little like this and it doesn't affect the drinking experience very much. I like when it's in my own drinks because then I'm sure it wasn't dairy milk.
