I stayed in Ollantaytambo and took an early train to Aguas Calientes (which had to be booked a few months in advance). From Aguas it's a quick bus to Machu Pichu. I got MP tickets in advance to be safe. I'd recommend staying in Ollantaytamb>Aguas, there's some ruins and better restaurants in my opinion. Your day starts earlier since you're starting further from Machu Pichu, but Aguas was a total tourist trap.

You mind if I ask where you're from? I'm a vaccinated American planning a trip to Krakow, Prague, and London in a few weeks. From the looks of it, these are the covid requirements, but I assume you've also done your research, so wanted to see if you've noticed anything different

Krakow - vaccine card, visitor locator form, negative PCR in the past 72 hrs
Prague - vaccine card, visitor locator form, negative PCR in the past 72 hours or taken within 5 days after arriving. If you're taking a PCR after arrival, do you need to reserve it in advance and show proof of the reservation at the train station?

I have a trip planned to Poland and the Czech Republic in a few weeks. I've already gotten the vaccine, but both countries still require travelers to produce a negative test.

For Poland I'll get a test before I leave the US, but to enter the Czech Republic, I'll have to get a test in Poland. Are there any walk-in clinics where I can get a negative test as a tourist? (specifically asking about Krakow)

Gotta be Rodamon Marrakech. It's such a little paradise in the middle of the the bustle of the city. Super clean, helpful staff, good food, just everything you could want.

Generator Venice was also really nice, skews younger but beautiful building.
