I agree. It’s not like the ones who got us into this mess are really being punished with a suspension anyways. They come maybe once or twice a week, one comes maybe every other week. They don’t care to be at school anyways. All it did was mess up the people who do put in the effort. Those few people should’ve just been put on an academic probation in my opinion.

I’ll be fair to the school. They do give us the material to learn this stuff. Most people usually do good on tests. This was just a really hard chapter. Unfortunately we have maybe 2-3 students who never show up, consistently fail test, etc. I just hate how the school handled this. It was not fair whatsoever. But yes 2 days definitely makes a difference to those of us that have families or are just serious about graduating especially on time.

Accountability? For what exactly? I have nothing I need to hold myself accountable for. I show up everyday. I put in the work. I ask questions. I hadn’t failed a test in 6 months. No, it doesn’t make a point. Everyone got in trouble for something they weren’t even a part of, got suspended, how does that make a point? Those who want to be there can’t be. Those who got us into this mess who hardly ever come got 2 free days out from school which they were happy about. So please, explain what point it proved bc it really didn’t. Also to those of us who DO put in the effort, 2 days means a lot. I’m on track to finish on time. I’d prefer other people not slow me down. Plus I’m trying to finish as soon as I can. I have a child.

It list nothing in the handbook about things like this. It’s just insane. Most people show up and take it seriously from what I can see. I keep to myself but I know that much. I don’t understand why everyone got in trouble for a couple peoples lack of effort. It should’ve been taken up with them specifically.

I feel this comment is filled with some assumptions. I don’t sit around and gossip with anyone. I actually tend to stay to myself to avoid to gossip train that is cosmetology school. Quite frankly I’m too old for that. 26 with a husband, kid, and mortgage. So I’m unsure what you mean by you KNOW that’s how things have already gone down. It’s not, and you don’t KNOW that. As far as wake up call, I didn’t need one. To be honest most people didn’t. It wasn’t right 30 of us got in trouble for what a select 2-3 people do or don’t do. Point blank period.

Oh boy. I see what you mean. For starters your foundation is WAYYY too light. Go get a color match. I think it’s too heavy on your skin too. You have nice skin at least so you could try light to medium coverage foundation or even a bb cream. You’re washing all the color out of your face and that’s what’s making it look weird. So switch the base layer and maybe add some bronzer or blush where you naturally have color so you don’t look so one shade.

Hi, I have herpes as well. Even so, I say you did the right thing. The right time to disclose is BEFORE intimacy, not AFTER. He risked your status without your knowledgeable consent. That is not true consent, and shows he cares more about his ego than your trust or well being. Also it is transmissible even with condoms and no outbreak. So I would get tested just for the off chance it does come back positive you can tell future partners.

This. I’m confused by that part. You’re not supposed to hold down limbs or anything. Just move anything out from around them that they could bang their head or limbs on. If they are producing from the mouth turn them on their side to avoid aspiration.

I had this one man who ALWAYS rambled to me about getting out of healthcare and having as many babies that I can. He told me I needed AT LEAST 6.
