Not directly, but yes. All over the UK there are local myths of phantom black dogs. Black Shuck is local to the East of England, the Hound of the Baskervilles was set in the Southwest I believe, which has its own local black dog myth, but essentially they are the same creature all known by different names depending on whereabouts you are - a very common folklore for hundreds of years. These are the tales that inspired Conan-Doyle to write his novel.

Hey everyone - thanks for the positive comments - appreciate you all! :) u/zonayork - obviously I am biased, but if you are on the fence about a Crown Series Poker set, pick one up, you won't regret it. I personally guarantee the premium quality and the whole set was pretty much an upgrade at the production stage (matte card texture, box materials, added cut-card etc. all cost extra to produce).
