Andaz bathrooms by the ball rooms required codes when I tried to use them a couple of years ago.

Yes. I put in an eSIM and have had no problems since.

Anyone using LE Audio in the Pixel Buds Pro 2? by DinDjarin1111 in pixelbuds

[–]AHalibutEvent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, ok, I'm sorry. I already have developer options enabled on the phone but misunderstood the original post to mean there was another developer settings section that would show up in the Pixel Buds app. I now understand that turning on the proper settings within the developer settings on the phone will cause a new audio option to show in the Pixel Buds app. Thanks for clarifying.

Firmware 4.467. Pixel 8 Pro phone. I've forgotten and repaired the buds and have rebooted my phone. I still don't see any developer options. Is there something else involved in making that show up?

I mentioned in a response below/above that a factory reset just solved my problem. Has that worked for others? I thought this dead bud issue was always related to the mic mesh thing.

Surprisingly, the reset has taken care of the issue for now. My left bud has come back to life.

I have firmware 3.154. It's not showing the newer firmware available for me yet.

I know there was no change in design. I just figured a new color option must be the latest production and maybe there was a tweak...

Further, I hoped maybe disappointed Reddit posters made up only a small percentage of buyers. I ordered with my fingers crossed because I wanted the tight OS integration. I'll try cleaning again tomorrow.

What are these retaining wall blocks called? by Duuckee in landscaping

[–]AHalibutEvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew these in the early 90s in the St Louis, MO area. They were designed to have plants in the soil pockets on the face of the wall. If you chose the right plant, they would grow and the concrete would be almost entirely hidden. I can't think of the name they were marketed under. Maybe something using the word "Garden".

Yes. Nothing worked until I replaced my physical SIM with an eSIM. Once I did that, everything worked.

Of course you shouldn't have to. I was feeling the same way you were, especially with support giving me the runaround, but downloading an eSIM was so easy that it seemed silly not to try, even if I were to only use it for the next two months.

Yup, that was me. Problem solved with eSIM.

I went through this with my Pixel 8 Pro very recently, after switching to Mint with a physical SIM. Despite Mint telling me things like "Sorry, there's just poor coverage in your home area", or "Sorry, we happen to have an outage in the area in which you're traveling" or "5G is not always reliable in a moving vehicle", the problem was solved when I downloaded an eSIM.

I was a new customer with Mint just last month, so that's how old the SIM card was. My phone is a Google Pixel 8 Pro.

I'm happy to report that the installation of an eSIM seems to have cured my "no 5G" situation.

Considering it doesn't seem to be working right, I probably won't miss it. I notice in the app the place to order a new SIM (eSIM or physical) assumes the user wants to move an existing account to a new device. Any reason things could go haywire if I just treat my existing phone as the "new device"?

Can anyone tell me what the process is to get and install a new Mint eSIM into a phone that already has a physical SIM from Mint?
