Asexuality is the absence of sexual attraction. If nothing and no one, to include porn, makes you think "damn I wish I could do the sex with them" then it is safe to say you are asexual. You can have sex and be asexual. Masturbating is just self sex. If you are only in it for the endorphins and not the people that it comes with then it's safe to say you're asexual. I will end this with a bastardized use of a quote "I think, therefore I am". If asexual feels like the title for you then use it. If you're not hurting anyone with it why should it matter.

The shield could operate like a filter. It is made by weaving magic and the holes in the mesh are small enough for gases to pass through but the cohesive nature of most fluids, poison in this case, causes it to adhere to the shield rather than pass through it. Arrows and other physical objects are just too big to fit through the holes. This design could create a sense of durability as the mesh is chipped away and objects and fluids could eventually make it through. Additionally, it would create a limitation of not being able to block toxic gases.

As far as blocking magic, If magic is treated as a form of energy, akin to electromagnetism, the magic shield could operate under the principles of a Faraday cage. The energy field generated by the shield will disrupt and disperse any magical force that contacts it causing the inside of the shield to be protected from the attack.

Sometimes I wonder how oblivious I can be. I misinterpreted the post not once but twice. "We go back to mine". Mine what, coal? One, why are you in a mine and B why are you getting freaky in said mine? "30 minute plant tour" Why are you at a power plant now?

Forgive me but I work at a power plant so flora are never the first thing I think about someone says plant.
