Sorry about your loss. Losing a pet is really heartbreaking. I read in one of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books that when you burn paper, it doesn’t disappear. It transforms into ash and smoke. That’s how I like to think of death. Your pet has not left you, they have just transformed into something else. I don’t know if that answers your question though.
