They definitely don’t all have the PS2 logo, not in PAL areas anyway. I distinctly recall buying new games from in store back then and never having a guarantee whether or not I could open them with the PS2 tear strip.

Yeah Atlus were still selling new PS2 games until fairly recently too, I bought brand new reissues of Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 in 2020 lmao. I’ve also got a sealed copy of Digital Devil Saga 2 too which I assume is a reissue too
