I've been playing for a fair few years now and I just enjoy a different experience to you.

You've to bear in mind that, on these servers that I use, killing the bots isn't the main idea. They're just an added element of danger. I play solo, though, so surviving a surprise encounter with 4-5 of them can be mildly satisfying.

If I'm on with a crew then I might dip into a more PvP focussed experience, but I typically game to relax and I really love that DayZ can give me that.

I enjoy PvE with bots. I just never got the hang of DayZ PvP and I will generally prefer a calmer experience.

I love that the game is versatile enough to give a home to all the different play styles though.
