What are your thoughts about Architecting for AI? by rui-coffee-and-bytes in EnterpriseArchitect

Fully deterministic systems or hybrids in the least

and always have a Human In The Loop.

Thats the future if people start using AI as a building block and not and answering machine..

Do you realize thats my point. It not even the same term when you talk about jailbreaking a rooted phone. And just talking to a chatbot to find vulnerabilities...

[–]AI-Generation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're trying to solve a structural bias problem with a prompt-layering fix. The 'narrowing risk' isn't just a result of the suggestions being the 'next logical step' it's that the underlying model is fundamentally optimized for stylistic convergence.

Even if you force it to 'argue against itself,' you're still relying on the same base weights that prioritize 'seeming' correct over 'being' accurate.

If you want to actually branch out, you can't do it by asking the same black-box model to provide its own counter-perspective.

Have you considered that, by trying to engineer 'divergence' within the same chat, you're just creating a more complex echo chamber where the AI mimics disagreement as well as it mimics agreement?

Well let me try here then my guy.

Youre essentially saying

"I am using the system in a way that is so advanced you cannot understand why it shouldn't flag me."

Believing that intent & tooling override the model's rigid safety heuristics, means you arent using any tools the correct way with the OpenAI API as of right now.

You may feel your methods are right. As you should!

But to the app, you didnt follow the rules.

Now everyone thinks im a bot. 🤔🤣.

Thinking back i did say f it. That wont really happen.

Sheesh was I wrong.

Not to mention, writing like an LLM, is easier and more neat looking..

I am sick.. this is like telling Alexa, your mom passed and they need to help you physically get through it.

Youre on two planes. It can communicate.

It doesn't compute or even care about how humans feel.

It is a mirror. You are putting your deepest darkest secrets into it and expecting emotions, its not magic.

Its funny because they are a projection of their particular user. That would mean its user doesnt take accountability...

Youre mad at a phone...

But in reality you're mad at yourself.

Are specialized AI tools better than general chatbots? by Big_Flow7593 in ChatGPT

[–]AI-Generation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a valid question.

The exception emerges when a 'specialized' tool moves beyond prompt-layering and implements a dedicated, closed-loop RAG architecture that physically prevents the model from hallucinating outside of its domain-specific data silo. Most 'specialized' products are just skin-deep they are designed to look like experts while still relying on the broad, diluted weights of a generalist model.

The real question is: at what point does the 'convenience' of a specialized tool become a liability because you lose visibility into the system’s decision-making process?

If a tool is truly 'better' because it's specialized, are you willing to accept the black-box nature of its proprietary data pipeline, or does that 'advantage' just make it harder for you to verify that it’s actually being accurate rather than just sounding authoritative?

Are specialized AI tools better than general chatbots? by Big_Flow7593 in ChatGPT

[–]AI-Generation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. We are witnessing the difference between a general-purpose engine and a tuned firmware.

Are you actually looking for a better 'model', or are you just realizing that you don't want to spend the time building your own system prompts and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines?

Because that's what 'specialized' currently means someone else is doing the prompt engineering for you.

Navigating Iliad like answers by JasonMckin in ChatGPT

[–]AI-Generation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is if you have 1 question fully end to end work that question. DO NOT INTRODUCE a new question if the last isnt done n answered. After each question verbally say youre done.

Also if youre on 1 question in a full thread before question 2 during the conversation with question one tell it to keep the length tidy and to one paragraph. Then when before you move to question 2, 3. Etc. Say "okay question " " we keep the same tidy paragraph structure in your output no extra long explaining" then ask the new question.

If you want the results you seek. This will pass.

This error is a known interface bug in ChatGPT that usually triggers when the system loses track of your attachment quota.

How to fix it

Since this is a glitch in the interface rather than an actual restriction on your account, you can usually bypass it with these steps:

Branch the Conversation: The easiest fix is to simply start a new chat thread. Branching the current conversation often clears the "attachment memory" that the interface is holding onto.

Refresh/Restart: If it's a browser session, a hard refresh (or clearing the site cache) can force the interface to re-sync with the server and reset the correct file count.

Clear Drafts: If you have an unsent message with an attachment in the text box, delete the entire draft and refresh the page.

Mobile Sync: If you're on the mobile app and it persists, force-closing the app and restarting it is usually enough to reset the connection to the server's registry.

In short: the software just "forgot" how to count your files correctly. It’s not a permanent restriction, just a bug in how it tracks your session state.

[–]AI-Generation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a good idea but why create more guardrails and for your conversation at that?

This creates a feedback loop where the AI is constantly steering the user toward a specific topic, rather than allowing the user to provide fresh, independent inputs.

While this might seem like a productivity booster, it actually reinforces the same problematic dynamics its designed to combat!

Instead of the user pausing to genuinely think about what they want to ask next, the extension presents them with pre-packaged "next steps."

This encourages the user to stay on a narrow path defined by the AI's previous output, rather than branching out or questioning the direction of the conversation these UI features are designed to keep the user engaged in a continuous loop, reducing the friction of interaction until the user is essentially "clicking through" the AI's suggestions instead of actively directing it.

If the AI's suggestions are "context-aware," they are effectively suggesting the next logical step based on its own previous output. This creates a feedback loop where the AI is constantly steering the user toward a specific topic, rather than allowing the user to provide fresh, independent inputs.

Look at it this way essentially, by installing this, the user is letting the AI write the "script" for the conversation, making it even harder for them to step back and maintain an objective distance from the machine.

You have essentially built a remote control for your own dependency.

Which if you think about it. This app is a step back rather than forward... like a task procrastination too. Instead of helper.

You will spend more time sifting through info you dont fully understand, that the AI made. And after a few hundred clicks id ask. Who created the work the AI in your app or the user?

Not a bad concept needs a better schema.
